My Dad spent 6 weeks at Leycester House to recover after an illness. It was very reassuring that day and night he was well looked after. Nursing care was excellent, staff were kind, considerate and respectful. My Dads highlight was definitely the food!

A lovely feeling home with caring and supportive staff with a "can do" attitude when trying to manage tricky respite dementia care in complicated Covid times. It would be 5* but it is hard for us to appreciate all the facilities that Leycester House has to offer at the moment with limited visiting access to protect the residents - but hopefully it will become easier in the future.

I am so delighted with Leycester House - my mother seems much more relaxed and happy. With the support of the care team she hasn't lost her independence, more just rediscovered her confidence and now has a more joyful approach to life. Thanks to everyone involved for being so professional and caring.

I stayed at Leycester House for a week recently and would recommend it without reservation. The surroundings are lovely - clean, fresh and attractive - and the food is really excellent, with every need and preference catered for. But most important, there is a genuine and skilled care for each resident as an individual. A lot of this is achieved through a high staffing ratio, which makes it cost more, but it's well worth it.

I have visited Leycester House on several occasions and the first thing that strikes me everytime I visit is the cleanliness and fresh smell of the building. Most care homes I have been to have at least a slightly unfavourable smell but not here. The modern fresh decor is calming and offers the air of 5 star hotel living. The added extras available to guests well surpasses the norm - onsite hair and nail salon, bar area, regular imaginative entertainment, private dining kitchen and restaurant to name a few! And finally the staff, very calm, very polite, very welcoming; nothing is too much trouble

My mother spent the last 6 months of her life here, while she declined with a terminal illness. The facilities are splendid, the food is high quality, the staff very caring, the management very organised and the atmosphere welcoming and positive. Every nursing/care home should aim to be at this high standard. Thank you everyone at Leycester House!

My parents shared their last three weeks of life together at Leicester House during which time the excellent staff at Leicester House cared fantastically well for both them and us. As my sisters had to travel a long way to get to the home it was great they were fed and watered so they didn't have to keep dashing out for refreshment. One sister even had a sleepover the nights before my parents died. The home is much more attached to life than death. Other care homes my poor father was unfortunate enough to stay at were akin to waiting rooms for death whereas Leycester House was more like a hotel
