Services
Murrays Pharmacy is a leading award winning community pharmacy group and healthcare provider with pharmacies across the UK, mainly in community and health centre locations. We employ over 230 staff across 25 pharmacy locations, including specialist mobility aid centres. Our Pharmacies are committed to healthcare and our vision is to be a great pharmacy brand.
A repeat prescription is issued by a prescriber when you are taking regular medication e.g. for asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. Generally, the GP will issue a prescription to you without seeing you each time. If getting to a pharmacy isn't that easy, you can order your NHS repeat prescription right here online.
A veterinary surgeon or suitably qualified person can write a prescription for your pet, just like a doctor would do for you. Having your pet's medicine dispensed by your veterinary surgery isn't the only option available to you. It may be cheaper to ask your vet to provide you with a prescription to have dispensed elsewhere.
A new way to get your medicines and appliances. The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from. If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription.
Murrays MediPouch puts all of the information about your medication at your finger tips. The pouches contain information on when the medication is to be taken, what time it is to be taken and details of what is in the pouch which can then be confirmed simply by turning the pouch over. Our highly accurate system simplifies taking medication, in the right dose at the right time.

Customer service skills and telephone manner need improving . I understand you are busy and don't normally call . However I did today and I heard the phone slam down when I ask about my prescription. I am going
to move pharmacy for my repeat prescription. My husband moved to Tesco for great service. I'm going there . I called to be told my prescription wasn't there so I went to the pharmacy to be told it was. How does that work .

The sales assistant was probablly hands down one of the most unhelpful people i have come across. Refusing over the counter medicine i needed, i went to another pharmacy who prescribed instantly and didnt have a clue why Murrays refused.
She asks unnecessary questions, very condescending and seems to take a real pleasure in refusing over the counter medicines when people are in need. I will also add this was the till clerk not the actual pharmacist so i assume she doesnt have a degree in medicine or license to dispense therefore should not be making decisions.
I will be reporting to the general
