I have and will continue to recommend you as an instructor to anyone learning to drive as I am not sure I would have passed my test so successfully at 38 weeks pregnant (!) if it weren't for your teaching. Q: What is a provisional license? A: Before taking driving lessons on Britain's roads, you must first have applied for and obtained a provisional driving license. You can find out more details and apply on the Government website. Q: Can I learn to drive with my mum or dad? A: Lots of people have their first driving lesson with their mum or dad and most generally find it to be a hair-raising experience!
All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory based. You will normally spend at least 5.5 hours driving. There is no test but you will be assessed throughout the driving course. In order to pass the Pass Plus, you will have to reach the required standard in all driving modules.
The next step is the Hazard Perception Test. You will be shown 14 video clips which feature every-day road scenes. To achieve a high score you'll need to respond to dangerous road situations and developing hazards. When you arrive at the Theory Test Centre, you will need to present BOTH the paper and photocard parts of your driving license.
