I am so thankful for my learning experience with u drive. I was lucky enough to pass first time with Davie from U-Drive. My instructor was very patient and every time I finished a lesson I felt even more confident that i would pass my test. My instructor have me clear easy to understand instructions and was very patient if there was anything I didn't understand.

As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one. If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately. You can find costs for all licence types here. Before you start the hazard perception part of the test, you'll be shown a short video clip about how it works before being shown a series of video clips on a computer screen.

Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. NO! Unlike many schools, all our lessons are conducted on a one to one basis and you will not be sharing your lessons with other pupils. There are many factors that determine how many lessons you will end up needing. Age, gender, attitude, personality and the ability to practise when not in lessons all contribute.

I would highly recommend David Mckim at U-Drive for lessons. David is extremely patient, understanding and knowledgable. As for my own experience, I’ve always felt at ease and comfortable when learning to drive with David. Great value for money with lessons and an amazing approach to learning to drive. Overall, a fantastic tutor.

David is a fantastic teacher and a lovely guy. He was very down to earth and patient with me when I was learning and he got me to pass my test first time. He definitely knows his stuff and made me feel calm and confident as a new driver. Would highly recommend him as an instructor for anyone in the area that fancies learning!

David is a great driving instructor, got me feeling confident about my driving even after my first couple of lessons and here I am just four months after my first lesson with my driving certificate. David has all the qualities of a top notch teacher. He is professional, will teach you by the book and is also very calm, patient and understanding. Along with this a great sense of humor which made for an enjoyable driving experience, I was always looking forward to my next lesson with him. On few occasions I had to reschedule a lesson, but I was always given plenty of notice and a chance to rebook

Davids the best ! i was so nervous about driving, i thought i was never gonna get there but he got me through it in no time. He was the third instructor i had and by far the best, so friendly but very proffesional at the same time. Makes you feel so at ease and has the patience of a saint! Would definitely recommend udrive.
