Keeping your bike in top condition is important, helping you to avoid costly repairs further down the line. Brilliant service, can't highlight enough how helpful Paul was or how good the quality of the work is, also the price was amazing. Bike runs like new. Recommended by a friend, had a full service and then just done 108 miles around Grand Fondo, it was like riding a new bike, fantastic job, will be recommending to all my friends, thanks.
For every warning a bike manufacturer includes in a user manual for a new ride, there's a cyclist who doesn't follow directions. However, some rules aren't made to be broken. Here are seven things you should never, ever do to your bike, if you. Unless you live next to a bike shop (and even if you do), you'll need a few tools and supplies handy at home to keep your bike tuned and ready to roll.

Services
From small beginnings we are now able to offer a professional repair and bike building service for all types of bicycles. We are happy to complete full services or an internal hub service, or only a puncture repair. We will treat your bike with the same care no matter what job needs doing. We carry a full range of replacement parts and accessories.
Tired of being overcharged at bicycle shops and then waiting weeks for your bike to be returned? We have over 20 years experience of riding, repairing and tuning bicycles. We will provide an accurate estimate before the service is preformed and we offer a Pick up/Delivery service with "No fee". Our servicing is quick and competitively priced.
Most brake assemblies sit very close to your wheel rims and use a quick-release system to disconnect and reconnect them. The exact location and design of these release systems will depend on your style of brakes. Others have a quick-release lever, just like on your axle, which can be opened to release the brakes.

Really great LBS. Been in a few times over the years and always helpful and pragmatic - no BS. Most recently on my way into work (in Altrincham) from Staly I hit an ill lit kerb crossing Oxford Road and totalled BOTH wheels. Made it to Alty by train and dropped my bike in. 24 hours later its back with new wheels and tubes, looking better than before.
Really delighted with service and Ben's always a treasure. He was suffering a bit with a bad back at the time. Hard to imagine how good he'll be again when he's recovered.
A great shop worth going out your way for.

First class service from Simon & Luke at the BikeShak. My Cannondale has never ridden better with adjustments to my gearing set up and reduced drag from the rear wheel and bearings. All the accessory bits they didn't have in stock such as cleats and electrolytes were ordered in specially which couldn't have been easy given the virus pandemic. Also reasonably priced and no up selling. Top job guys!
