Hazelvine
Hazelvine was formed in 1986 by two brothers, who having moved to London and sharing a flat together were presented with their very first service charge budget. They challenged some of the cost headings, and were allowed to take over some of the services themselves, enabling them to reduce costs and offer better value for money.

What started as providing a few services to their own block grew into a business when residents from other local properties approached them and asked for their help. With backgrounds in Construction Management and accountancy, they believed they had the right knowledge base to offer a property management service.
Services
We provide professional property management services to a diverse client base whose needs can be very different. Developers, owner-occupiers, buy to let investors and RMC directors can have very different agenda's, some want to be involved in every decision and some don't have the time so are happy to leave everything to us.
We believe Green Issues really are fundamental to ensure our children will have a world that is fit to live in. At Hazelvine, we do not pay lip-service to being green - we are passionate about minimising our impact on the environment and we have clearly stated sustainability objectives.

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected economically through the development of our business and our processes; socially through looking at the needs around us from our employees to our local community; and individually within each development to assess the environmental impact we have and what we can do to reduce them. Each of our offices recycles paper, plastic, toner cartridges, old computers, and even stamps (collected for the RNLI).
All groups of Leaseholders work differently, and we tailor the service we offer to meet the specific needs of each group. Some want to be heavily involved in all decisions, while others will have no involvement unless something major crops up. However you want to work is fine by us; You are the client and we want to deliver the service you require.
The service we offer RMC's is very similar to the service we offer to leaseholders, except that the relationship between residents is more prescribed, and includes additional services related to Company Law and Directorships. In this situation, we act as agent to the RMC, who is itself responsible for the delivery of the management service, and our reporting is to the Directors of that company.
Hazelvine have been managing new sites for developers for over 30 years. We understand the added complexities that new developments pose, such as staged handovers and the different priorities of various users of mixed use schemes. Our managing director comes from that industry so we speak your language.

This is the world’s worst management company I have ever seen in my life. I live on the 6th floor and my lift is broken which is managed by them. It’s been 2 months and still not fixed. What a ridiculous company they are, shame on you and your company.

Absolute joke of a company. Zero stars unfortunately isn’t an option.
Properties currently without ANY water for the 3rd day and counting. No drinking water provided, no temporary clean toilet facilities, no washing/hygiene facilities, no emergency contact department and their only response was to attempt to blame the water board.
Their own engineers have explained to the residents that they flagged an urgent issue with the pumps for the building(s) 6 months ago however, this was ignored and now hundreds of hard working, tax paying homeowners/letters are left without their basic human rights

Have been complaining about bad guttering causing damp for over 3 years, finally sent some people to fix last spring. They didn't fix properly. The merry go round continues.

You are an absolute disgrace. Lying to tenants and lease holders, we’ve been without running water for over 2 days and you try and blame the water provider when it’s your own negligence that has caused this mess. I’ve had nothing but issues with you since I began living here 2 years ago, and because of your poor ‘management’, I cannot wait to leave.

Not a single good word to say. Zero stars more deserved than one, if an option. Have raised numerous issues with the property with the receptionists, property manager and area manager, who have done precisely nothing, not even replied to my many emails or returned my many calls. Actually, they HAVE found it within themselves to be disrespectful and rude, lie, and show zero pride in their non-existent work. While the issues with the property persist, half a year later. To echo another review, if only management companies were regulated. Avoid.

Such a pathetic service. I vacated the flat more than two years back and I'm still getting security door notification on my cell phone. Number of times I requested them to deactivate my phone during last 2 years but of no avail, they simply don't respond or rude in their response/conversation without solving the issue.

Probably one of the worst companies i have dealt with. Property managers are incompetent and cant resolve issue yet they have the nerve to charge high service fees. The gate on my property has been broken and is left open for months at a time. Company employs useless agents that cant respond. Communication is disgusting - cant even get an email from them, unless they are chasing for money. I would say stay clear.......but no one really checks a management company when buying a property.

Terrible service, no response at all, keep get promised calls back and nothing at all. Been advised several times that i will get a call back and nothing despite continually chasing. The block had a telecom system replaced prior to myself owning the property, and doesn't work at all and no power to the handset at all. I have even paid for an engineer to visit the block and replace this myself for my tenant. It then transpires that the intercom needs different handset sand Hazelvine haven't got round to replacing it, surely this would be done at point of replacement of intercom. I have now been

I am a leaseholder of a Hazelvine property in Basingstoke, Edmund Court. Hazelvine have been next to useless for the past 3 years. Due to their incompetence we have moved from our flat to rented accommodation, partly due to safety concerns (my wife is disabled) from Hazelvines lack competence/or care about the tenants. Also there were access issues due to ongoing lift issues. i had to engage the CEO to do something. For the first 8 months of us living there Sian did nothing in securing the block even though she was well aware from many of us the door was broken and not locking properly. Due to
