As the holder of an HSE issued licence to remove asbestos ARDS pride themselves in being at the forefront of improvements within the industry. ARDS have all site staff certified by the RSPH as having satisfied the criteria to have proved Competence to NVQ Level 2 (operatives) Level 3 (supervisors) & Level 4 (senior managers) we are, to our knowledge, the only Licenced contractor in Scotland to hold this level of competence throughout the company.
ARDS are currently working with a major International Company in a rolling program of asbestos removals. This has involved the removal of asbestos boarding that was used as Fire Breaks during the original construction of the factory. Obviously the first problem in such a project is access to the material.
