Lossiemouth Bay is situated on the North East Coast of Scotland, next to Lossiemouth Seatown on the banks of the River Lossie. Known locally as 'the Riviera of the North' due to the warming of the atmosphere by the Gulf Stream. This provides an exceptionally mild climate and almost every morning is free from fogs or sea haar even compared to other coastal towns on the Moray Coast.
Just a few strides from the caravan park will take you onto the beautiful sandy beach where you can enjoy bird watching, long walks or spotting the famous bottle-nosed dolphins. A five minute stroll from this popular Holiday Home Park will take you into the centre of Lossiemouth where you will find many facilities and attractions for all the family to enjoy.

Services
Lossiemouth Bay Caravan Park is a family owned and run business which has, since 1999, been in the ownership of a local, long running and trusted family business established in 1820. The park is ideally situated on the edge of Lossiemouth, sitting peacefully between vast woodlands on the South and the River Lossie and expansive sandy beaches on the North.
Just contact Cathy, the park manager, and she will advise what is available and can arrange viewings of the units for you. You can easily change a holiday home on a park but you cannot change your park so always check this out first. Helpful tips: If you are still working or have children at school, the ideal distance from your home for any holiday home is no more than about 1 hours drive.
It is well worth visiting both Spynie Palace about 2 miles south of Lossiemouth and Duffus Castle. Also worth a visit is the Lossiemouth Fisheries Museum which is located by the marina. There are two main walking routes: Along the cliffs from Lossiemouth to Hopeman, or across the River Lossie by the footbridge to Kingston.

Staying in a lovely caravan near to river and beach is a short drive away. Lovely quiet site. Do hear the jets flyover every so often from RAF Lossiemouth. Good range of eateries and ice cream parlours. Definitely worth a stay here. Birth place of Ramsey Mcdonald, three times prime minister. The tiny house still stands where he was born.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, however DO NOT buy a caravan on this site, if no longer required you can only sell back to the caravan park, with a massive loss, (nearly 50%) only for them to readvertise at original purchase price. I don't know how he can live with himself, its daylight robbery...

Situated alongside the river, its a scenic location. Alas the bridge to the beach is temporarily closed for repairs but it has received funding to be overhauled.
The caravan park is extensive and immaculately kept. There are scenic walks nearby and shops within a quarter of a mile, and also a very good bus service to the local town Elgin.
