We have used this restaurant over a few years. Yesterday evening 01/06/18 the service was so poor the couple on the next table waited that long for there main course they walked out without it, not paying for the starter. Several others also complained about the service. The staff where that busy with take-aways the seated customers where second in the service list. I would never use this restaurant again without a Groupon voucher or similar. There was nothing wrong with the food.

I hate to leave bad reviews. In fact this is my only bad review i have ever left but if i could it would get zero stars ..... I have been told many times about this place and always never complimentary and was nervous about going when invited with friends because i'd heard loads of horror stories about the food hygiene there. When i first walked in i thought this doesn't look too bad. Okay it was old fashioned and tacky but that is almost the norm with Chinese Restaurants. When i sat down though and looked around for 5 minutes i could see that it looked very run down. The service was absolutely

Food is generally good, it's better to order takeaway than go in though as they prioritize the takeaway customers. Took us about 3 hours from start to finish and we had to call them over to get them to take orders, had to ask them where food was. When we finally started bring out the mains we got rice and chips then didn't get anything else for almost half an hour so they had to come and top us up. The servers told us that this was because of the high volume of takeaway orders.

Went to this place on recommendation. Being a restaurant we expected smartly dressed staff, wrong! Even the manager was dressed in jeans. We were given the menus by a young lad and whilst deciding what to eat he paced up and down at the side of us for 10 mins until we placed our order. We went for the £20/head meals where you had a choice of soup and a platter of spare ribs, spring rolls and burnt chicken wings and you chose a main meal with rice. Such a shame as it used to be nice and reasonably priced, they've now stopped doing the mid week special and the chef has changed apparently. My god you can tell! I had chicken and sweet corn soup for starters and it was horrible, the chicken was soggy and snotty in consistency (!?) And the soup itself was watery. For main I had chow mein, from the very first mouthful all I could taste was salt. The chips were so over cooked that the potato had gone and so so dry. It was not nice at all. Like I said before all the changes it was great but now.... no. I was gutted because I'd moaned to my husband

The staff try very hard and are helpful but the workload aint fair. Or they need to work as a team. Some worked very hard while some looked blank. We waited 20 minutes past our booking and had to visit the bar for an update for menues and then drinks. Food was very nice but let down by the service. Again no fault on the polite staff who are running around ragged. The disabled toilets are blocked with spare dining chairs !! Would i visit again ? Yes. But this place could be so much better with a good team leader

Having just moved to the area 8 months ago and tried all the local takeaways and restaurants, we were so relieved to find Mister fu's! Absolutely delicious food, and the waiting staff are so friendly. They made us feel right at home. The chefs will cook your food exactly as you like it...varying from their usual recipes. It's brilliant, and I'm really hard to please. Well done guys 👍🏼

Me & my partner go to Mr. Fu's at least twice a month. Service is great and staff are fabulous.
No rush and if there is an issue, it's sorted without fuss. Partner prefers veg spring roll to meat and also likes her hot n sour soup hotter than normal, never a problem A+
Obviously when it's fully booked service can be slower, but that suits us, as we enjoy the night and in no rush.
When we have needed to be elsewhere, meeting friends etc. We mention this to the staff and they ensure we get away on time.

I went there with my wife having a lot of hopes n reading the review here. But guess what turned out to be a disaster.
The frog legs was good and because of that I'm rating them 2.
The soup was just salty without any flavour. The fresh apple juice was something not fresh n served from what they buy from a super market
The napkin had holes in it! Can u believe it.
It took more than an HR for them to get me the bill and pay for it.
Honestly the place is ridiculously priced for the food it serves. In fact I have had better food from small Chinese take aways. There is an uncanny cheapness to everything
