He emigrated to the UK in September of the same year and settled in Cardiff. Iain worked as an associate in several practices before purchasing his own practice in Cardiff in 1989. Whilst working in practice Iain obtained his Master's degree at the University of Wales in 1996. In 2002 he was invited by the Board of Regents to become a Fellow of the International College of Dentists in 2007.
Iain is a member of the British Dental Association, the British Society of Periodontology, the Gloucester Independent Practitioners Association, and the South Wales Independent Practitioners Group. In his spare time, he has numerous interests, one of which is that he has been a member of the Rotary Club of Cardiff, Llanishen since 2002.
