At One Wood Street, we are proud to have assembled a dental team offering a rare combination of training, experience, skill and compassion, and covering general and specialist dentistry, as well as facial aesthetics. Peter graduated from the University of Glasgow and spent one year in general dental practice in Warwickshire.
By far the best approach to dental health is to spot small problems early before they become big ones. At One Wood Street, our dentists are highly skilled at all routine dental procedures and treatments, including preventive care and fillings. There is no rush to get your treatment done, and in this relaxed atmosphere your needs can be fulfilled.
Dental implants are made from titanium, and are used to replace missing teeth. They are placed surgically, and then a new crown is placed once integration with the surrounding jawbone has taken place. Implants have become the preferred option for replacing missing teeth, as they are permanent, look and act just like your natural teeth and even help stop your jawbone from atrophying, which can cause sagging facial tissue.
Most people weren't born with Hollywood smiles, but even those lucky enough to have naturally white teeth watch as their smiles get duller with age. This is due to the effects of daily habits such as staining food and drink and of course smoking. Luckily, modern dentistry can not only restore your teeth to their original brightness, but make them even whiter than they ever were.
For some people facing even the simplest dental visit can make them nervous. At One Wood Street, we understand this and are eager to do everything we can to ensure that a dental phobia doesn't stop you from receiving the dental treatment they require. Nervous patients have the option of being given an appropriate dose of Midazolam via intravenous, in order to relax you and make the dental experience stress-free.

Needing extensive implant work which was beyond the capability of my usual dental practice the One Wood Street practice was recommended to me. The One Wood Street practice has a friendly, calm and professional atmosphere which from day one gave me a confidence in engaging in the complex multiple implant and bridgework treatment. At no time was I exposed to pain or discomfort by Peter Yesudian and healing was rapid. I now have an effective normal and permanent solution that allows me to enjoy eating and drinking once again along with confidence in speaking without the risk of an embarrassing malfunction

Had swelling around a tooth which caused me much pain, phoned to get an appointment and despite it being a busy week leading up to Christmas, they got me in the next day!
I was seen straight away and they started the exam immediately (as if they had a plan!) They we’re so pleasant & friendly, I was at ease right away.
They talked me through the result so I could understand and I believe they came to the correct result.
This place is amazing, clean, very friendly staff, and all the modern tools a dentist needs to be successful.
Their 360 x-ray machine even plays a tune as it rotates around

After my original crown failed earlier this year and a root canal to fix that issue failed also, I decided a dental implant was my best option.
Being with an NHS practice, dental implants are not available and after some recommendations along with internet searches I decided One Wood Street and Peter was the best option to replace my missing front tooth.

I have just been for my regular visit to the Hygienist. This is something I dislike, almost as much as having a filling - and not because they have been poor at their job. I'm just very nervous! However, today I met Becky, who I haven't met before. She was very gentle and put me at ease throughout the entire time. She did all of the procedures that I would expect a hygienist to do, but with great care to my fears. I came away feeling far more positive about my next visit, which will be in four months. I would definitely recommend One Wood Street for any dental care needs. As a nervous, dental patient

I started going to One Wood Street about ten years ago on my return from Singapore, where dental treatment was excellent. So I was nervous about being able to find a dental practice of the same standard. Eventually, I found One Wood Street and have not been disappointed. All the treatments that I have had have been carried out to the highest standards. But apart from the professionalism, everyone there is friendly and relieves any anxiety that one may feel. Everyone also accommodates to any particular problems that one may have (eg I 'gag' easily). Altogether the experience with everyone - dentists

I attended Alison Redford’s surgery on 9th November 2021to receive treatment on a decayed tooth that was filled using a white filling. I was extremely impressed with the way my treatment was managed by Alison and her dental nurse, Clare. Although many of us are reticent about attended a dentist on a regular basis , I can assure you that you’re in safe hands here and would highly recommend the services provided. In summary it was the nicest filling I’ve had in my life 😀

I am a nervous patient who had to have an extraction, so I chose conscious sedation. I never felt a thing, I was able to play relaxing music throughout and the team were amazing. Hey put you at ease, take great care of you and make the experience as easy and as painless as possible.
