We really care about your eyes and make our appointments longer and more frequent than most practices. We book at 40 minute intervals and extra time will be scheduled if necessary. This is what the NHS covers including checking your prescription and the health of your eyes. However, the purpose and contents of the NHS sight test were laid down in 1989, long before many of the modern tests we now use in practice were developed.
We offer a full contact lens fitting and after care service for soft and rigid gas permeable lenses. Have you ever wondered if you would be suitable to wear contact lenses but not dared to ask?. Have you tried contact lenses in the past and given up - too complicated and too time consuming?. Contact lenses can now be fitted to most prescriptions even if you wear bifocals or varifocals.
