Porth Lodge Hotel Restaurant & Bowling
Porth Lodge is a lovely 'Olde Worlde' hotel which is set in a quiet country lane, only two minutes walk from the golden sands of Porth Beach with free parking for our customers. The 17th century Inn with its low ceilings, cosy nooks and 'Olde Worlde' charm, is popular with both holidaymakers and locals alike.

Its sheltered position makes for a very pleasant holiday at any time of year.! Porth, located just outside Newquay on the way to Watergate Bay, is away from the more hectic bustle of this exciting holiday resort, yet close enough for you to enjoy all of its facilities when you wish.
Services
We have standard rooms to accommodate 1 or 2 people, set up as a double or twin bed settings and all are furnished to an AA 3 star guest accommodation standard. Our self catering holiday apartments are fully equipped for 4-6 people. All have a bathroom, a separate toilet, lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
The restaurant offers a varied and interesting menu with both West Country dishes and hearty meals. All food is prepared from fresh local produce and presented with flair for your pleasure depending on the availability of the seasons. The small dining room is fitted out in wonderful, glowing, wood panelling together with natural stone walls just as is the main bar.
Sardines, surfing, fishing and boating, all have played their part in making Newquay the exciting and vibrant coastal destination it is today. Occupying a fantastic location on the north Cornwall coast, with towering cliffs, pounding surf and a seemingly endless sweep of beaches, its no wonder that generations of visitors have been making their way to this great British holiday base!

Great place, owners are very kind and friendly, the provided morning breakfast has consistent quality and good room service and pub with pool table is always fun to play with other residents. Location is a 5 minute walking distance to the beach. Bed and room is clean and comfortable
Improvements would be having a better system for parking, it can be very difficult and annoying to park if majority of spots have been taken since it is a little limited in space.

The bed was so comfortable and bedding was clean and smelled beautifully fresh. Breakfast not only offered plenty of choice with generous portions, but was also made with excellent quality products, something I've found is not always the case when hotels try to reduce their costs with inferior, cheap sausages, bacon etc. After eating dinner in the small hotel restaurant on our 2nd night we decided to eat
