Hi, I'm Emma, owner and photographer at Oxfordshire based Studio Bambino. I spend my days photographing babies and families and meeting so many wonderful little people (and grown ups too). If you haven't guessed, I absolutely love what I do. I'm trained in newborn safety and know that these little people are the most precious thing in your world!

How did I become a newborn photographer? This is the part where I am supposed to write about when I first picked up a camera, but then you wouldn't really be finding out about me now would you! Of course, I love photography, and of course, I love babies and children, doing this 'job' that should be a given, but me, the real Emma, what can I tell you about me.
If you're reading this, I will assume congratulations is in order. I know personally that the journey to pregnancy is not always easy, but no matter how you got here, I'm excited for you! A new baby is just the most amazing experience. The first few weeks fly by in a flurry of midwives, visitors and getting to know this new little bundle.
Whether it's your first or last baby. Whether you feel like a whale or are loving being pregnant, a maternity session is an amazing thing to remember your this amazing time in your life. I know you might feel sick, with swollen ankles and a spotty face! But don't worry about that, we can make you feel like the amazing woman you are! You're growing a human!
You've made it through the first year! Congratulations! I know from experience that the first year, no matter how amazing it is, it damn right tough at times too! So many milestones, first teeth, first steps, first giggles and now first birthday! What better way to celebrate than a super fun cake smash.
Sitter sessions are perfect foor your 6 - 10 month old, whilst they are sitting (unaided) and not yet walking. It's one of my favourite sessions. Babies are usually smiling, and we can catch those still chubby cheeks, and beautiful bums before they are up and running! Want to wait a bit longer? When your little cherub is walking then we can also venture outside too if you would prefer.

We have had two sessions with Emma now and have a third booked in. On the initial newborn shoot she was very friendly and made us feel really comfortable. The pictures were edited beautifully and were displayed via a lovely presentation at the studio. Our second session was the Christmas shoot with Santa. Unfortunately our little one was petrified of Santa but Emma and the team had so much patience and made us all feel really comfortable. They were really creative and played around with the setup to get different photos. Again, Emma went away and edited the photos in just 2 days and I'm lost for

We have received our gorgeous photographs from Emma and we are so pleased. This is the third time we’ve used Emma. I have a maternity and newborn shoot last year. And another newborn shoot shortly after my second was born in august. She was so patient with us considering we had a newborn, 17 month old and dog to try and get pictures with. She really accommodated us as a family and even managed to get a beautiful picture of our newborn and 17 month old which is never thought would happen! We are more than impressed. Thank you so much Emma and cannot wait to come back again when the babies are

We used Studio Bambino several years ago for a bump shoot and then newborn shoot when our son was born. He wasn't the easiest of models but Emma took some amazing photos that still have pride of place on our walls. She was friendly, skilled and very patient, and the images were just what we wanted and not at all over-edited. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Studio Bambino.

Emma at Studio Bambino is amazing. She’s talented, patient and a wonderful photographer. We have used her for 7 photoshoots in total from maternity to newborn to capturing our children at 1yr old. She isn’t phased by grumpy children or babies who don’t sleep! Each time we’ve had beautiful images that we will cherish forever. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

We used Studio Bambino for both my maternity shoot and our newborn shoot. During my maternity session, Emma made me feel so relaxed and happy within myself and the resulting photos are absolutely stunning.
Our son's newborn shoot took place later than expected due to COVID delays, however even though baby was a few weeks older than originally planned, Emma still managed to get the results we wanted. We love every single one of our photos and can only speak highly of Studio Bambino's work. Great price for a professional service.

Emma is kind and gentle working with little children and is skilled at getting them to do the right thing at the right time. We was made to feel really welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. Emma was kind, happy and very chatty creating a lovely and relaxing atmosphere to be in. Emma was brilliant with both of our children (our children at the time of our first visit were 9 years old and only 10 days old), making our daughter feel at ease. We have since returned to Emma for beautiful family bluebell photos (they are truly beautiful). We are completely in love with our photos and they couldn't have turned out any better each time. They take pride of place around our family home. We can’t thank Emma enough

Emma is an amazing photographer! Her talent speaks for itself in the photos she takes. Her photo sessions are so much fun, she is calming, VERY patient and has a fantastic eye for detail. We've had a few sessions at her Studio Bambino and an outdoor shoot and when the kids aren't playing ball, Emma still manages to capture beautiful photos and precious memories. We had a really great time with Emma during our baby’s first photo shoot. The environment was very relaxed and calm in the studio, and my daughter was very happy being there (even after spending most of her life in lockdown so far). Emma was very friendly, and we had some lovely chats whilst the photos were being taken.
The quality of the photos are amazing, and the most beautiful memories to keep forever! I would highly recommend choosing Emma to capture special moments in your life or with your family.
