Together with our talented team, we run More Than Images, a photography studio based in the market town of Wallingford, on the edge of the Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire. We love working in our studio, and out on location, making the most of the rural landscape around us. We specialise in contemporary portraiture and create beautiful images for individuals, families and their pets.
Jointly we have worked in the photography industry for over 35 years and have been running our studio since 2001. Our shooting style is fun and energetic and that's reflected in our work. With oodles of experience we'll coax a natural smile out of any grumpy toddlers, moody teens or reluctant dads.

More Than Images is run by Sophie & Christian and has been making people and pets look good since 2001. In that time we have gained a reputation as an exciting and vibrant portrait studio in Oxfordshire, making us the place to come if you're looking for beautiful, fresh images. Our small team of professional photographers and digital re-touchers are all nuts about photography and creating modern, distinctive images.
Whether it's just high time you got some great photographs of your gang, you'd like to celebrate the arrival of a new born or get all the generations together you've come to the right place. We photograph families and their pets in the studio or out on location, and can accommodate large groups of up to 20 in the studio.
In response to the pandemic and having to close the studio due to national lockdowns we looked for another way that our photographs might give pleasure and the idea for a series of Wallingford jigsaws was born. We have been amazed and touched by the response to this idea. All the images that have been used in the creation of our jigsaw series have been taken through our sister company, Yellow Dog Creative, as part of our library of stock images.

I got some amazing images of my 2 dogs, Christian and Sophie were brilliant at getting the dogs attention and keeping them interested, so creative with different “poses”, totally natural with some great funny pictures added in! I wish I knew of More Than Images when I got married - I would of 100% used them. Can’t wait for the bluebell photo shoot I have booked in for in April! Thank you so much to

Wow! What an amazing company. Seriously, I can't say enough good things. From what we thought was going to be a horror show of a photo shoot with 3 adults and 2 sullen teenagers, Christian was amazing - he has such a great energy. He turned it into an amusing, fun experience and the photographs that came out of it were stunning. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed

We booked in for the C-Plan with Christian and the team at More than Images, we wanted to have the shoots through the period of our pregnancy. Each and every session we had got better and better with our final shoot being in the castle gardens on an amazingly sunny day!!
All of the pictures we even better than imagined and all was completed in a very comfortable and friendly manner.
I could not recommend Christian and the team any more they were amazing!!!
