Our lodges are set in the grounds of Crown House and are surrounded by countryside, they have been named after local tin mines from the 18th & 19 centry. All rooms have their own entrance with just one step into each room.

Close by is Porthleven a historic harbour village with restaurants, tea rooms and great walks. We stayed there for 5 days and it was a very enjoyable holiday. The room is spacious and clean with a huge garden, lovely breakfast area and a large car park. Bernie and Dave are a fantastic and friendly couple making sure everyone feels welcome. The breakfast they cook is very tasty, cooked with good quality ingredients and it keeps you full for ages. Always helpful and ready to have a friendly chat. Would love to go back and stay there again. Thank you

Could not fault. Arrived with an extra child as one of the older ones decided last minute to come with us and could not have been accommodated better. Lovely clean rooms, super comfy beds and excellent breakfast where nothing was too much trouble. Some nice subtle touches that made it more homely and very friendly. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay again.

Not an ordinary night as England were playing Croatia on the World Cup semi-final. But we were invited by the lovely Tracey, the barmaid, to come and join them. Great night, great proper pub that also does food which we'll be partaking in tomorrow. Apparently the portions are large. Looking forward to it.

I've been coming here for years every time I come to Cornwall. You have to come here just to try the food,its amazing. And if you like ale to wash it down it comes straight from the barrel,just how it should do.

Having returned home from a wonderful holiday, thought I'd let everyone know of our experience....
My fiance and I stayed here for 6 nights from 8th July, his birthday! We were in the Brambles lodge, so peaceful and surrounded by our own private, beautiful gardens. Our lodge was huge, crisp white linen and towels, fridge, iron & board plus hairdryer all provided And the bed...wow, so comfy!
