Choice Pet Supplies is an independent pet store trading from inside Hillier Garden Centre in Hemel Hempstead. We sell products for dogs, cats, horses, small animals, chickens, indoor birds and more. Our main strengths are a huge range of frozen raw foods for cats and dogs, many locally-sourced products, and a range of feed and other products for horses.
We are particularly focused on the quality end of the market, but we aim to serve everyone's needs and budget. We are a traditional shop. For the time being we don't sell online, and we don't publish all our products and prices on our website. In the future this will change, but for now you will have to come and visit us.

Services
We are confident that we have the best range of frozen raw food for dogs and cats in the region. We stock a huge range of complete foods, and also a good range of straights for people who D.I.Y. We cater for customers with very specific dietary needs and we also have some very economical options on raw meat.
We stock a variety of leads, collars and harnesses, and you will find something you like whether you are looking for something cheap and basic, or a really premium product. We stock about 120 styles of MyFamily dog tags, which are engraved on site while you wait. We stock dog beds for every budget, including premium options with memory foam or orthopaedic foam.
We stock a broad range of cat foods, with a focus on the better quality brands that you won't find in the supermarket. Brands of dry food that we stock include Orijen, Acana, Carnilove, Meowing Heads, Eden, True Instinct, Taste of the Wild, Fish 4 Cats, Hills, Iams and Royal Canin, James Wellbeloved, Harringtons and Duchess.
We stock feed, bedding, treats, health supplements and grooming products. Customers can park in the layby next to our shop, and we will take your purchases to your vehicle. We stock all the major brands of horse food, including Dengie, Topspec, Equerry, Spillers, Baileys, Dodson & Horrell, Thunderbrooks, Saracen, Mollichaf, Honeychop and more.

We needed a larger than average microchipped cat flap. The staff rummaged through the stock room, unpacked stock to help us and I think we have cracked thr problem... if my cats decide to cooperate that it! Pity they don't feel inclined to be as helpful! But, they will go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you need. If you are scratching your head wondering what to do about a problem, start here.

The best pet shop ever, cannot fault anything about it. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and really do take the time out to help you.
I always try and shop here, not saying there is anything wrong with pets at home but this small independent shop knocks the spots off them for the range and service.
The choice of pet food is amazing and the pricing is competitive.
Yet again more great service in the store on my visit today, my grey emptied her bladder all over the shop floor and the staff were great at dealing with it.

Great range of products and really knowledgeable and friendly staff who helped us choose a harness for our growing puppy. They actually down sold us (as opposed to upselling) - finding us a cheaper alternative to the harness we went in for, until our puppy has stopped growing and then we can invest in the more expensive harness.
