There are many hazards in such an area and all users must assume personal responsibility for their use of the park. Users of the land must act with caution if they are unsure of anything and check it out before approaching, cycling or walking near it. If unsure, please avoid it! If you encounter anything you think unusual or is a hazard, please report it to the office as soon as possible.

Services
Just south of East Grinstead in Sussex, Deers Leap Park has 240 acres of dedicated mountain bike tracks of every grade from family-friendly trails to single track and north shore in the woods. Come to Deers Leap for a day out and try out the trails - our main trail is just under 3 miles around the park, with lots of other smaller trails going through the wooded areas.
There's plenty of mountain biking for children at Deers Leap Park. Children under 16 must be accompanied at all times - just sign in at the Deers Leap bike shop. Our easy main trail or 'Family Trail' is wide and goes for just under 3 miles around the park. It's well marked with signposts at frequent intervals and easy to follow, with no sudden drops or obstacles.
Many groups want to just hire bikes and lead their own groups around the trails of Deers Leap Park. You can hire as many bikes as you need for your group and simply take them out on to the park yourself. As a rough guide, we will have around 20 bikes at a time available for teenagers - this can be up to 30 bikes depending on age and sizing.
Deers Leap is a 230+ acre park which was purchased by the Hobbs family with the intention of creating a space for recreation, including a mountain bike park, back in the 1990s. It is now run by Deers Leap Bikes Ltd, Director Steve Ranger. The Manager is Adam Falshaw. Deers Leap is private land and we charge a small fee for bike riders for our trail maintenance - see 'Mountain Biking'.
The Bike Shop at Deers Leap Bikes sells the full range of bikes from Trek, Identiti and Mondraker, and Frog Bikes for kids. Our showroom displays a range of mountain bikes and hybrid bikes as well as electric mountain bikes. We have most Trek mountain bikes in stock or to very short order and are always delighted to help you.

We had a great day here. Fantastic knowledge
and advice from the on site bike shop. You can hire bikes here but we brought our own. Good selection of single-track, downhill sections, technical switch back, skinnies and wooden features. Well suited to the beginner and intermediate riders but the wooden features do require a high standard of bike control. We easily spent 5hrs here exploring. On site cafe and bike wash in the courtyard was a great finish to our ride. More skinnies and wooden features would give this a five star rating. We'll be back. Cheers guys

Had a great experience here, I’d broken my rear wheel on my ebike and after trying a few places these guys were on the case.
Ordered took a couple of days and boom I’m back on the trails. The service was great and Adam & Jo have secured themselves a repeat customer.
If you have a problem with your bike it’s worth getting in touch they will sort you out or point you in the right direction.
Thank you and keep up the great work

I never write reviews but on this occasion I felt I really should.
I have owned many different high-end bikes over the years and custom
built some myself so I thought I knew a lot about bikes and what to ride until I talked to Adam at Deers Leap bikes. The man really does KNOW his stuff and is always willing to help so you don't waste your money.
They will always give you the most impartial advice and it just proves that independent bike shops are so needed in a growing industry that can sometimes be overwhelming even for some more experienced riders.
Whether its your first bike or the next

When we decided to give mountain biking a go we 18 months ago we started out here and hired bikes. The park is the perfect place to start out and get comfortable on a bike.
Adam and Jordan are hugely helpful and even though we didn't end up buying bikes there (we should have) still helped out on a number of occasions when we had issues.
Over the 18 months it has continually been built up and different and more challenging features added we a lot more planned in the future. We still regularly go the practice skills and a few laps is good for fitness. Also a brilliant place to take friends to give
