Golf is no stranger to this corner of Bromsgrove as the game was first played on the present site some 100 years ago on a course described as consisting of "9 rather sporting holes". In those days golf was only played on Saturday afternoons, the greens having been mowed in tthe morning. The rest of the course was left more or less in a natural state probably grazed by cattle or sheep.

This mature 18 hole golf course, designed by one of the leading UK Golf Course designers, Hawtree & Son, offers innovative design with considerate use of the natural landscape.

Bromsgrove Golf Centre welcomes players of all abilities but respectfully asks all players to observe the information on Requirements of Play, Safety Information and dress code. In support of the R&A proposal to help speed up play we have adopted the 'Ready Golf' philosophy which all golfers playing at Bromsgrove are required to uphold.

Coaching Report

We are proud to be the home of the acclaimed Bromsgrove Golf Academy it's an association that we are humbled to be part of, we relish our shared vision with their team in driving junior development and participation. We often hear it said that Golf is good and virtuous for the younger generation, (we don't doubt that) but the shared philosophy that we promote is that our Juniors are great for the game of Golf.

Staff so helpful today for our Barnt Green MACULAR DISEASE SOCIETY CRISTMAS PARTY. Most members have some or all sight loss. Waitresses attend to every table. No one has to leave seat. Think our chair lady said its 19th year xmas meal. Every one perfect.

A very popular centre in every respect. Golf range, catering and pro shop all excellent. The course is a real challenge and was in good condition. A really lively place and well worth a visit.

Course in good condition as were the greens. 1st time I have played this venue and found it to be a excellent facility. Range in good order and clean. Clubhouse very nice and the shop is well stocked. Gentleman on the desk very polite and friendly. Will be back for another round soon.

I played here as a one ball on an unexpected morning off work .Busy Monday morning but the course was in beautiful condition and I was in no hurry.There were several groups in front - some members some not - whether they were 2 balls or foursomes - all without question allowed me to play through with a cheery smile and showed great camaraderie. Talked with the greenkeeper on the way round - very helpful and obviously proud of his course.

Society game today 31 players the outside was set up well but think there was to many players and guests overall was a great first outing.
course 9/10 Outside set up 7/10 outside bar service 6/10 ( 1 bas staff)… welcome 10/10 COVID-19 secure 8/10 food 9/10 ( burger needed chips with it )
overall experience for the day 8/10
quick mention for the young lady serving, she done a fantastic job trying to keep up.

Booked a fitting with Gary in the pro shop. Exceptional service. Gary understood straight away what I wanted and went through the process with me. I ended up buying a full fitted set of new irons, if your looking for a full professional fitting/service. I can highly recommend Bromsgrove pro shop.

The course well looked after. The putting greens are in great shape. Any one looking for a good round of golf should give it a whirl. Nice food and drink in the clubhouse then a good look round the golf shop.

Fantastic course, booked thought tee off times to save £10. Staff very friendly, course conditions very good considering the amount of rain we've had. Strongly recommended.
