What a view but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't stay but we had the most wonderful meal we have ever had in our life. The service was superb Sarah and Cecile are the most professional friendly girls and are worth their weight in gold! Can't wait to go back and hopefully stay Thank you Bayview 😊

Went for a meal few weeks ago. Particularly went on a Sunday to get a Sunday lunch. After I'd been sat down and ordered a drink I was asked what I wanted to eat. Very disappointed to be told at this stage there was no Sunday lunch left. If I knew when I walked in I would came back another time.
Meal was not very nice and some of it over cooked, very small portions and left hungry after a 3 course meal. Dessert was the nicest part of the meal. Couldn't fault that.
I had emailed hotel after my visit and have had no reply in 4 weeks.

Had a lovely dinner tonight; however it was spoiled when I asked for and was given the dessert menu and no one came to take my order. I attempted to catch the attention of staff a number of times but they were setting up for breakfast and enjoying catching up with each other. Very surprised and disappointed

A MUST, to stop by for lunch! On our coastal tour of Northern Ireland we stopped at this beautiful hotel/restaurant for lunch. The restaurant overlooks the coast and the views were amazing! Also the menu was full of fantastic fresh seafood from the local area. If you want to enjoy a wonderful meal while taking in the scenery. I highly recommend having lunch at this

The Bayview hotel is one of our family favourites. Good wholesome food in a great family atmosphere. However, tonight one of us went home hungry. Zoe got chicken goujons and chips (at 5.95) and received 2 goujons and a cup of fries.
I was so surprised at the size of the meal that I asked if the portion size was normal. "Yes" was the response.
Poor show Bayview.
BTW, the rest of the family had exactly what they expected for 3 adult orders.

Absolutely wonderful, couldn't have asked for a better hotel during our road trip on the costal causeway. I would highly recommend taking a stop here!
The room was very clean and comfortable, and featured on of the nicest beds I've ever slept in. The real highlight was breakfast- a stunning view of the ocean greets you in the morning as you help yourself to a nice continental buffet and a full menu of made-to-order hot breakfasts. I had the salmon and eggs with toast, and it was perfect. That morning was so peaceful, with the view of the crashing waves and a full breakfast, it was hard

I recently took a trip up the Causeway Coastal Route in Northern Ireland and had the pleasure of staying at The Bayview Hotel in Portballintrae for a night. The hotel was more modern than I would have expected for a quaint N. Irish village, but it was a fantastic place to stay even if I didn't get my fix of a creaky, Craggy old-world lodgings.
The hotel sits atop a bluff overlooking the Portballintrae Bay and the surrounding village..it's a a breathtaking view! We got there on a cloudy afternoon, but by the time we had checked in and walked down to the beach the sun had come out pit

Wonderful "boutique- style"hotel, recently modernised to a very high standard. Warm and welcoming, which isn't easy to achieve on a cold October night...the sort of place you want to fall asleep in front of the fire, pint of Guinness in hand!!The bar/ restaurant food is superb...tasty, imaginative and plentiful....you'll definitely want to come back....dont miss it!!
