If you think you may need counselling or psychotherapy, you are not alone. At times we are all faced with confusing or painful situations, feelings of dissatisfaction, anxiety, stress or depression, painful losses, traumatic or unhappy memories, difficult decisions or the need for change.

I am currrently working online but whether we meet face to face or via Zoom or similar platform, my therapy room is a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can talk about what you are experiencing and how you are feeling without being analysed or judged.
Services
I first trained as a counsellor, gaining my Diploma in Counselling in 2000. I went on to train as a Psychotherapist and in 2005 was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) Degree and Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy by Middlesex University/Metanoia Institute. I have since undertaken a supervision qualification and supervise counsellors and psychotherapists, both qualified and in training.
Psychotherapists have undergone extensive training and are qualified at a higher level than counsellors. However, there is a great deal of overlap between these 'talking therapies' and the skills used are very similar. Both can help you to deal with problems in a fresh way. Counselling tends to focus on a specific life problem, while psychotherapy deals with more deep-seated personal issues which may bring about profound changes.
I work with individuals and couples. With an extensive knowledge of a wide range of theories and approaches, I've worked with clients from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, presenting with depression, anxiety, self-esteem or relationship problems. I am also experienced in working with more serious mental health problems including psychosis, schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder.
Supervision is a space for support, encouragement, exploration, learning, creativity, challenge and discovery. It offers an opportunity for growth through the reflective space created by working with a qualified and experienced supervisor. My aim and responsibility as a supervisor is to promote and facilitate highly competent, ethical practice.
