Services
DCS has a highly professional, multi-skilled team drawn from relevant professions and industry, offering a wide range of therapeutic services. All our counsellors are committed to career learning, with a Diploma in Counselling as a minimum qualification. All our staff are professionally accredited and have full Professional Liability Insurance.
DCS offers a range of services for individual clients, either self-referred or referred by their GP or company, Employee Assistance Programmes and healthcare providers. Confidential counselling sessions for most personal and relationship issues. Together with our trained and experienced counsellors, you can discuss how you respond to life events and how you understand yourself and relate to others.
DCS provides an opportunity for you, or someone close to you, to explore problems or concerns with an independent professional counsellor. DCS counsellors are trained to listen in a totally objective, impartial way with complete professionalism and confidentiality. We aim to provide a setting where you are free to talk safely without fear of rejection, criticism or blame.
Bereavement is the feeling of grief when we lose someone or something close to us, or are suddenly facing big life changes. Death and loss are an inevitable part of life and the accompanying shock, numbness, anger and sadness form part of the natural grieving process. However, if we leave these feelings unprocessed then such losses can leave us with emotional scars and long term problems.
