My name is Richard Gibb and I have been a full time professional Dog Walker since 2008. I specialise in walking energetic dogs in safe countryside locations, so that they are able to stretch their legs properly and blow away the cobwebs, the way only dogs know how! I am also proud to say that I use a fully 100% electric van for my dog walking service.

Joking aside, it's important that I emphasise that due to the type of dog walking that I do, the dogs regularly come back very dirty, especially in winter time.

Richard has been walking my dog for nearly 3 years and is always reliable and professional. Ralph has a fantastic time and always comes back nice and tired - gives me such great peace of mind being at work through the day. Richard is flexible when I need him to be (with holidays or changes in days) and I even managed to hold onto him after a move !

Would highly recommend Wacky Hounds! Our dog has been walking with Richard since he was a pup and his weekly outing with Richard and the crew is by far the highlight of his week. He literally squeals with excitement on hearing the Wacky van arrive and always returns exhausted but happy. Richard’s Instagram posts of their varied walks around the Ayrshire countryside always make us smile. A Wacky Hound is a happy hound! ☺️

This a fantastic dog walking service. We have been incredibly lucky to have found it and have it for our dogs.
Richard looks after our 14 year old retriever Rory collecting on a separate walk from our younger dog and allowing him to plod along at his own pace. He then collects our 2 year old red setter who is very energetic and we know how well she is doing, as we have videos on Wacky Dog's Instagram of her running about like a happy lunatic. It gives me great peace of mind, allowing me to both work and enjoy our dogs. He also looked after our previous red setter Ryan. He know all the characteristics

Richard is friendly, professional, reliable and very accomodating, always finding space for my dogs walks with my last minute shift changes. It can be very daunting at the start giving your dog over to a stranger, but straight away we felt at ease and knew our dog was in very good hands . Jay always has a waggy tail when he sees Richard at the door and always comes back a very happy boy ready for a long snooze .
We love the videos Richard puts up of all the walks he goes on ,it's nice to see our dog out enjoying himself and the lovely country walks he gets to go on.

I actually couldn’t recommend Wacky Hounds highly enough! Richard is amazing with my boy. I know my boy is getting the best care and best fun out there! I had a previously bad experience with another dog walking service and there is no comparison! I have 100% confidence in Richard’s professionalism and experience. My boy loves his walks and I love seeing him on the Instagram videos Richard posts.

My two dogs love going out with Richard, they are getting a bit older now, and are sometimes a bit reluctant to get off the sofa, but Richard has a lovely way with them, and after a bit of love they leave the house very happy, and come home ready for a jumbone and a sleep. Richard at Wacky Hounds is fantastic with our dogs and has been walking them for many years. They love going out with him and return from their walks tired and happy. Richard is so professional and takes great care of our dogs. We can go to work knowing our dogs are out enjoying themselves and are safe and looked after.
