High street lenders tend not to offer mortgages to the self-employed, contractors and freelancers without considerable paperwork and delay, so finding the right one for your circumstances can be daunting. Took all my details, I spent 1 hour on zoom call, guy was supposed to ring me back with loan decision within that week and its now been over 2 weeks. they are ignoring my emails and text messages. very unprofessional. im scared that they might mis use my details. I shouldn't have trusted this company, please be aware before giving out your details. 5* reviews here might be fake.

We were arranging our first mortgage in 2017 and Sarah at Strathon was excellent. We were a little wary mainly because people taint brokers with a bad reputation but Strathon were excellent talked us through the various options and what would be best. We settled on a mortgage that we looked at independently the only difference being that going with Strathon we saved the £1,000 product fee.
