Services
I have been working at Chessington Equestrian Centre for many years now and enjoy teaching all standards of rider with the aim to get each rider riding to the best of their ability. I started riding and being involved in the lovely world of horses at the tender age of 4, when my mother took me to our local riding school and I became hooked!
Chessington Equestrian Centre was established in 1988 and became a Limited Company in 2017 and in that time we have stayed committed to the belief that riding should be available to everyone. Chessington Equestrian Centre Ltd. has a friendly community consisting of staff, instructors, weekend helpers, liveries and customers all of which come to enjoy their time with our horses.
Billy is often used for beginner and novice teens and small adults but also works well for more advanced riders. Unfortunately Billy is not used for jump lessons anymore but he still does his bit in the school, also taking part in school groups and occasional Pony Parties. He loves playing with his buddy Pearly when turned out.
We here at Chessington Equestrian Centre believe each horse is an individual, and deserves a taylor-made solution to their stabled life. Offering acres of paddocking, hours of hacking on our doorstep and expert guidance/tuition from our team of qualified staff, we aim to provide a one of a kind experience to all those looking to give their horses a happy, healthy place to live.
From the yard there are various hack routes to choose from, within easy reach of beautiful surrounding areas such as Claygate Common, Esher Common, Oxshott Heath and Arbrook Common. We offer hacks from 1 to 3 hours and there are opportunities for longer day rides including using the horse box to travel to the North Downs, Epsom Downs and more.

Was really looking forward to starting to ride here...
When i called the office to get some more information about the types of classes they have the woman on the phone was really disinterested in answering my questions. I thought maybe she was busy so I didn't think too much of it, however when I called again and spoke to the same woman, Donna, this time to book in a lesson and again asking a few questions, she again seemed irritated, disinterested & almost annoyed that I was trying to get more information. It was really quite uncomfortable, but more so just very uninviting & unwelcoming...not

Thank you to Marie and the other instructors, who have taught Rowen so well which helped to enable her to pass her BHS Stage 1 exam. We are so proud she has passed and congratulations to everyone else who passed too.
Thankyou to Viv, Marie, Polly and Ian for a great day competing at Wildwoods yesterday. The girls all rode well and the horses and ponies did us proud.
