Greater Manchester Funeral Service
In 1986, I started out on this very long journey to become a funeral director in the hope that I could make a difference to the profession. I set out to serve the many bereaved families of Greater Manchester with a professional understanding and a caring attitude, and I succeeded. I have been working not only in Manchester but all across the UK and Ireland.

I know from my own past experiences the pain and hurt we suffer when we lose someone close to us, and that making funeral arrangements is one of the most stressful things a person has to deal with. With over 30 years of experience, and with having gone through that process myself, I can help you. Members of my family and many qualified staff are also here working alongside me.
Services
The procedure following a death will vary depending on the circumstances surrounding the death. A medical certificate of the cause of death must be obtained from a doctor. This certificate will enable you to register the death and obtain the death certificate. The family doctor must be informed as soon as possible that death has occurred.
A traditional funeral leaving from your home address will cost 1400.00. This would comprise of a 24-hours-a-day emergency service for the conveyancing of the deceased from the place of death to our private chapel of rest (during business hours). Visits to our chapel of rest up until the day of the funeral (during office hours).
We currently have three chapels of rest where you can come and visit your loved one, Chapel of the Holy Family, St Mary's Chapel and St John's Chapel. Our chapels have a seperate private seating area allowing you to compose yourselves before going into, or coming out of the main chapel area. If you do not wish to have a service in a local church or crematorium, we can accommodate services in our chapels for small groups of attending mourners.
An oak wood veneer coffin with gold coloured handles, flat sides and a flat lid. This is our standard traditional coffin and is fitted with engraved nameplate and required religious fittings. Suitable for burial or cremation. A solid oak coffin with scupltured panelled sides and raised lid. This coffin is fitted with gold bar casket handles, engraved nameplate and required religious fittings.
Through our many years of experience and the provision of a quality client service you can be assured that you and your loved one will be treated with respect and compassion in your hour of need. We offer an independant family owned funeral service, with a funeral home designed to ease your fears of making the arrangements by providing a surrounding of comfort and quality.
