We returned from a short 2 night break on Sunday, the first as a couple since before our daughter was born almost 11 years ago! We stayed in Ivy lodge, it was stunning! Very deceiving from the outside, it’s… extremely spacious inside. Immaculate and has everything you could need with regards to kitchen utensils, utility room equipment etc. Lovely surprise of a Christmas tree being up when we arrived. The whole area is stunning, beautiful views and so peaceful, relaxing in the hot tub with only the sound of the birds was amazing - far from the usual hustle and bustle of home life with

We have just returned from a weekend break at longnor with our dog. Caravan was immaculate, site is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately due to the snow storm our electricity (along with the… whole area) went off and the staff were AMAZING, tea lights, extra blankets, bottled water, wine! They even put us up for an extra night as our car wasn't suitable to be sliding around the snow! Nothing was too much trouble! Our dog along with us had the best stay, even with no power!

We had a wonderful stay here in a dog friendly luxury caravan. it was very well equipped with everything you would need, spotlessly clean and no doggy smell! the hottub was fabulous too.the site is very picturesque, well looked after and all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. very quiet with just the sound of birds and the… occasional tractor. we walked into longnor which is a really pretty village, stopped at the pub for lunch and a relax by the fire. lots of local walks but if you want to visit buxton, bakewell etc you would need a car. all in all a perfect getaway to

Had a lovely weekend break here in September. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly, and really pleased to be able to access the lodge earlier than expected.
The fully enclosed 2 acre dog field was ideal for our escapologist dog, felt really safe and good to have a safe dog exercise area
The lodge itself was good. The kitchen well stocked with utensils. The only area that needs some effort is the bathroom where the sealant needs replacing.
Phone signal and 4G is very hit and miss, so you will have to pay for WiFi if you really can't manage without for a few days.

Longnor wood hoiilday Park would I recommended no its a very nice place but its to far of the beaten track I went with my caravan touring ok if your in car for a short break but not if your touring with your caravan the site pitches are two close together and the roads are very narrow only one chemical point thats very poor and smells bad also its in a shed there are good veiws but not from the site you have to take a short walk to see the veiws and in my eyes lets the site down so from me gets a 3 star rating.

Myself, best friend and daughter camped here last weekend, the site is absolutely wonderful beautiful views and so quiet. I took my 2 Labradors which spent a lot of time in the new enclosed paddock. But the most impressive thing is how clean everywhere is, the toilets and showers are sparkling, staff very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return next year. Thank you for making our stay memorable

We've stayed at Longnor Wood Holiday Park 4 times now and each time we've found the cleanliness to be top notch. The staff are fantastic, always warm and welcoming. It's an absolutely awesome place to stay. We love it so much we've booked again for next year. I'd highly recommend it. The holiday park is surrounded by countryside, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
really quiet.

Lovely site very peaceful, the electric and water post was too far away to reach my caravan and I had to go out and buy extensions, which I could have done without
Some trees or hedges between the caravans would have been pleasant. The toilets and showers were immaculate. Had a good time a very stunning area.

Ideally situated in the Peak District, with all the best locations within striking distance. A beautiful site and the Lodges were well maintained, scrupulously clean & exceeding comfortable. Nothing could beat the Hot Tub after a day sightseeing. All the staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Definitely a place to revisit.

What an amazing campsite! we booked a 3 night stay in my campervan! the pitches were great, electric hook up was spot on, shower block and toilet facilities were the best I've seen and used! Doggy play field was so well kept and beautiful, so spacious! Lovely helpful staff and handy shop on site, covid aware and good procedures in place! Lovely half an hour walk into town! and approx half an hour drive from most things! Would 100% come back! Thank you so much! 😆 Just what we needed first break away post covid! ✌

A great place to stay - we stayed the first week of August to coincide with the Bakwell Show. It's an "adults only" site - so no screaming kids!!!
Very peaceful place and very well run. Toilet/shower block always very clean and tidy - they must check it every 30 mins.
TV reception iffy so take a satellite dish! Essentials available to buy in the booking office including ice creams and chocolate. It's classed a a four star site and it shows. Pubs in Longnor but not in walking distance. Well worth a visit.
