Come and learn to drive in a fun and fabulous learning environment with Mother and Son team, Karen and Dan Smith, based in Bishop Auckland County Durham. Whether you are a complete novice, who has never driven before, or you have already passed your driving test and are now looking to gain further experience on the roads.

We provide a friendly calming environment with two fabulous coaches. Driving is a skill for life and one day your life may depend on that skill. Mirrors Driving School is committed to giving top quality coaching to all pupils. All of our lessons are fully structured and planned to the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency learning to drive syllabus.

I established Mirrors Driving School in 2009. I worked very hard to make it the success it is today. I love what I do & hope you will love learning to drive. We have so much fun. I am a Grade A DVSA ADI (Car) and have been a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists for 26 years. I am looking forward to meeting you and teaching you to drive.

At Mirrors Driving School we believe that in order to give you the very best opportunity to learn to drive safely and effectively, you have to have the right car. With this in mind, we have chosen the AUDI A1 Sport. The Audi A1, a big idea condensed. Sometimes it's the smallest things that contain the biggest ideas.

I passed my test with Karen first time. I highly recommend Karen as a driving instructor. She focuses on the parts of learning to drive that you are struggling with in a very patient friendly way structuring each lesson to suit each person and she makes sure you are fully prepared for your test. Karen made learning to drive a good experience making me feel comfortable and relaxed from the first lesson. I am glad I have passed my test but I will actually miss our drives together.
