My name is Diane Lambert and I am a Darlington-based business. If you live in or near Darlington and would like to be taught how to drive by an experienced and qualified driving instructor, then get in touch. I was born in Darlington, and I have lived in the town all of my life, this gives me a good working local knowledge of the area and the roads.
There are approximately 45 driving skills to which you will assessed in, each with five assessment levels. I will introduce each skill as appropriate, there is no set order. But bear in mind levels can go down as well as up. I really enjoy being a driving instructor and I am always extremely proud when one of my students pass their test.
The practical test will start with a eyesight test and and two vehicle safety questions. For the eye sight test you will be asked to read a number plate, 20 meters for a new style number plate and 20.5 meters for old style number plate. For the vehicle safety questions, or show me tell me as they are some times known, you will be asked one show me, one tell me.
