Scott's Hire Ltd has come from a very humble beginning with Martin Smithson the current Managing Director purchasing it from the company's founder Don Scott in 1998 who started the company over 30 years prior. At the time of purchasing it the depot ran out of a small yard attached to the previous owner's property.
Scott's Hire recognises that plant safety is good for business and staff morale. We are committed to the prevention of injury and ill health. We believe that health and safety is a key business function. Scotts Hire Ltd will not knowingly break any health and safety legislation. Safety is the responsibility of everyone and not just a function of management.
I have been dealing with Scott's Hire for over ten years and found them to be dependable and responsive to my organisation. In particular Scott's have the best equipment that is well maintained and are second to none in a crisis when you need assets repairing at very short notice or out of working hours.
