Services
Eagle Plant was established in 1975 in an old brewery site in Chard, Somerset being part of a small building company. In 1981, Eagle Plant became a Company in its own right but remaining within the Building Company Group. In 1994 a decision was made to change the Group Structure and Eagle Plant was sold to its Managing Director, Michael Grimoldby and his (late)wife, Vivien.
Every employee automatically becomes a co-owner in the business and remains a co-owner until they leave. There is no need for employees to purchase shares and every employee is regarded as having an equal share in the business. Every effort has been made to put a structure in place which is transparent and just, having due regard for the employees.
Eagle Plant offers a range of safety information, giving assistance to allow customers and its employees to be able to assess hazards and in turn implement the control measures that may be needed. On this site, symbols for the relevant hazards are shown on the equipment description pages. These symbols are purely advisory and the customer should carry out their own risk assessment to assess exactly what PPE is required.
We ask customers to pay in advance by credit or debit card. We also encourage all regular customers to open a trade account where you are invoiced monthly. All equipment remains on hire until returned to an Eagle Plant branch. Should you require collection please telephone to ensure we take it 'off-Hire'.
