We've recently appeared in a variety of local and industry publications including Hampshire Life, Huffington Post and also Drapers. Today we are off to the Goodwood Revival and I can't wait to dress up in my outfit again! George, Ian and I, together with Ian's cousin, are going along today and praying that the weather will hold.
If you've never been, I highly recommend it! It's an expensive day out but the atmosphere is brilliant - I'm not even all that interested in the racing! There is music, dancing, funfair, entertainers, stalls and of course all of the cars. I really admire the effort some people go to with their outfits - of course, you don't have to dress up but it's great fun to take part.

I had seen a lovely pair of boots on Karen's website, unfortunately, my size wasn't available. After a prompt reply to my email, Karen suggested trying the next size up and comparing them to my original size in a different colour. Lovely experience of ordering online shoes; googled a particular brand of shoe, KG came up. End of season, so little left. Ordered only shoe in my size; the order was reversed quickly, as I presume it was actually out of stock. Reckoned she had done a stock check, which she had, and lo and behold, a better shoe appeared in my size. Arrived next day along with handwritten note. This is one way the pandemic has worked - independents enagaging with new customers.

I bought the Luella 100% cotton pink star jumper and it’s my new favourite item to wear. Perfect for the not quite t-shirt weather. It's a good fit with a little bit of movement at the bottom (I’m a size 10-12). I live locally, ordered it Sunday, hand delivered Tuesday. When we moved to Emsworth I was so pleased to see this independent shop at the heart of the village. I have bought a few items here and I have not been disappointed. The range changes just enough to give variety but there always seem to be dependable items available for everyday wear. I recommend this shop highly. The welcome is friendly and genuine. I hope that Karen receives the support she deserves during this time of uncertainty.
