Our park is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park - the largest National Park in England, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll find tremendous scenery in every direction, with secluded beaches, dramatic mountains, and no fewer than sixteen beautiful lakes just waiting to be explored.
The Lake District is famed for its attractions and activities, and our park is perfectly located to take advantage of everything there is to see and do here. Bustling towns such as Keswick, Bowness and Ambleside will keep you occupied all day. For family outings try the Farm Park, Wildlife Park or Lakes Aquarium, and you can take a lake cruise or chain-ferry at Windermere, or hop on a steamboat at Ullswater.
Consider this your home in the Lakes: the perfect get-away for the whole family (dogs included), where you can choose to do everything, or nothing at all. Here you'll find all you need for a truly relaxing break: well-appointed caravans with generous plots set in attractive grounds; a welcoming atmosphere, peace and quiet, plus an on-site shop and children's play area.
Historic sites abound here, including Hadrian's Wall at the Roman town of Maryport; thirteenth-century Muncaster Castle, and Hill Top, the seventeenth-century farmhouse where Beatrix Potter created her magical world. Visit our historic harbours to discover our rich maritime heritage; explore the Georgian town of Whitehaven, visit the childhood home of William Wordsworth in Cockermouth.

Quiet little caravan park right next to the Lakes, local towns and amenities are a short drive away. Friendly staff that live on site. And an old fashioned red telephone box converted into a book/DVD exchange.
Even had good 4G coverage! (o2)

Very pretty little caravan park. Quiet site with a no noise rule after 10.00pm, providing you don't get a rave party in the next caravan not stopping until 3.00am. it was sorted next morning but obviously not a great night.

POINT OF NO RETURN!! We got informed that electricity was being increased by 25% overnight when myself and all the other residents addressed this issue we was told that gas has suddenly gone up from £55 to £60 per 47kg bottle! This was a way of punishing us the residents for questioning the raise in price of electricity. Since this day every time we have seen the owner he has been aggressive and non approachable so anyone reading this I strongly advise you to look elsewhere like me and my wife wished we had.
