Hersham Golf Club is one of Surrey's finest leisure resorts - and one of its best kept secrets. Ideally positioned just two minutes walk from Hersham station, our club is also one of the most accessible around. We are about 20 minutes away from Clapham Junction station, and right between Esher and Walton-on-Thames.

We are open. We welcome new members, individual visitors, and corporate groups throughout the year. Many long-term friendships have flourished at Hersham. We encourage young players to develop, and also work hard to keep our seniors very active.
Services
Our 18-hole course was crafted out of natural woodlands. As a former Greater London Council tree nursery, this beautiful environment has evolved over the years to become both a leisure haven, and also a natural habitat for many bird species. We are keen to maintain this natural balance, and work with many specialists to protect our feathered friends.
Hersham Golf Academy seeks to make that difference to your game. From complete beginners to experienced players, there is always an opportunity to sharpen your edge and become more confident. Our team of PGA-qualified and experienced coaches are totally dedicated to you. On hand seven days a week, these fine players understand the dynamics of taking you from one level to the next.
Various categories of membership have been designed to encourage young and older players. Individual, Husband & Wife, Group, Corporate and Junior categories are available at Hersham. These options are also available on a 7 and 5-day basis. Benefits of membership include unlimited access to the course, and discount cards for expert tuition, food and beverages, and the driving range.
Hersham Golf Club is the ideal venue in Surrey for corporate and society days. We make sure your day runs perfectly. Our dedicated and experienced managers work hard to take the strain out of organising events. We offer a range of flexible packages, all competitively priced to give you the very best deals.
Remember your loved one by celebrating the life they lived, the choices they made and the memories you shared by holding a wake in their honour at our intimate venue at Hersham Golf Club. We have an experienced team that will be sympathetic to your requirements and your needs on the day. For further information contact Dean Mara on: 01932 267666 or email dean@hershamgolfclub.com.

Not bad at all. Prices were around the same as other courses near me like Hurtmore. Obviously being a woodland (tree dominant) course, some of the greens are covered in leaves and twigs etc which is a shame but not unexpected. It was very very wet when I played, with puddles on a lot of fairways and some greens so I’m guessing the course doesn’t drain well…..not great if it’s been raining a lot. Few challenging holes with ditches/water…..otherwise trees are your main obstacle. I enjoyed myself enough lol. Only problem I could really critique is there were beer bottles on nearly half the

Played the course for first time today and found greens in not brilliant condition but that was not the worst part. After 3rd hold I was stuck in traffic at every hole afterwards.
You can understand waiting on the odd hole but when you are waiting behind 3 or 4 groups tells you the story
The course looked ok on arrival but after taking over 2 hours to play a front 9 that isn’t even 3000 yards I walked off after 9.
Not offered an apology, a credit or money back. Very dissatisfied and would never recommend

Every few weeks I meet with a very good friend for a round of golf equidistant to our location, today we chose Hersham Golf Club.
On arrival you are greeted with a modern club house but no pro shop , only a small corner in the main cafe area..
The course itself is not very long but is tree lined and looks very nice.
We had our t time for 09.50 and we were on time .
After the 2st few holes things got a little congested.
After the 9th hole we were faced with 4 groups waiting to t off.
We decided enough was enough and walked off course.
I called into the club house to voice my disappointment

Nice challenging start to the course, mature parkland and second nine opens into narrow link style, good variation. Staff were excellent and family facilities look good so everyone will enjoy a visit.

A friendly place with a quaint and enjoyable course. There is a nice cafe for snacks and a dinosaur themed crazy golf. They have a driving range, putting and chipping areas too. Free parking. 18hole course is nice woodland for the first 11 holes and parkland from 12-16 then woodland for final two. Needs a bit of work and watch out for kids and walkers strolling through or hiding in the trees!

This is a very welcoming golf club. The course is well laid out & in very good condition despite the recent rain. It is mainly tree lined & demands accuracy rather than length. Great value for money & highly recommended.

Not a long long but very narrow fairways which makes you think how to play each shot, very good and true greens.

Fantastic 18 hole course. The fore 9 is a traditional woodland course, while the back 9 is more of a links course, with plenty of rolling hills and undulating grounds. All in, it makes for a challenging round of golf. The clubhouse is quite modern, with a decent bar and favourably priced menu. Early golfers will appreciate the excellent full English breakfast. They also have a driving range.
