Delta Bikes is a partnership created by Paul Dickerson and Jonathan Ridout. We grew up riding mountain bikes and trials bikes together and held a strong desire to work with something we were passionate about and so Delta Bikes was formed.
We found the shop was a lot busier than we initially expected and as our website was serving a niche sector of cycling we decided to stop eCommerce for a couple of months until we could replace the website with something which better represented the areas of cycling we now represented.It turned out we were pretty busy as over 8 years later we're finally back online!

Services
Salary: 18-25k dependant on performance/experience. We are looking for an additional mechanic to join our team in a full-time role (38.75 hours per week but flexibility may be possible). You must be a self-starter, have a firm interest in cycling with good product knowledge and give brilliant customer service.
Our Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of our stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that's convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE! Choose a store of your liking, click continue and complete the rest of our standard checkout steps and you're ready to collect your item in store.
Demo bike information is coming as soon as we're able to get demo bikes.! (Demand is expected to continue to be very high for the next few years, so this may not be possible, but feel free to ask). You need a driving license or passport, and a chip and pin credit/debit card which is registered to the address on your ID.
We do not ship electric bikes but we can deliver electric bikes that are not on sale with a price of 2999 and above within a 30-mile distance of the shop free of charge. Normally bikes 1000 and above ship for free (may exclude certain sale bikes which will cost 24.95 to ship). You may wish to give us a quick phone call before ordering a Special Order item so we can confirm availability and lead time with our suppliers.
We can take cycle scheme vouchers from a number of providers. Please be aware that not every single item can be sold against a cycle scheme voucher, so please call us to check (01453 545480). Cycle scheme vouchers can not be used against bikes or goods that are on sale. GCI is our preferred provider and we can take GCI vouchers against ALL non-sale bikes and accessories allowed on the scheme.

Having spent a good amount of time researching which bike would suit my needs I decided that a Whyte bike ticked many boxes. Their website indicated that they had the exact bike I was considering in stock. On speaking to Jon over the phone I felt immediately reassured that he could help me with both the sale and after sale care. He was extremely knowledgable about the bike I was interested in and I decided to buy it safe in the knowledge that he would be able to help should there be any issues with it. Jon set up and prepared the bike really quickly and personally delivered it to me within 2 days

Ordered a new Whyte bike online and received really great service from Delta Bikes, they had plenty of time to discus build-up options and kept me informed of the order progress. The delivery was fast and the bike was very well packaged. I will have no hesitation in using them again or recommending, based on the great service they provide.

I was searching for a Whyte T160 S in autumn 21 in Bristol.
This turned out to be much more difficult than it should have been, owing to covid chaos and subsequent supply chain issues. No one was able to help. I was told I may have to wait till the end of 2022 before a size medium could be supplied.
Internet searches showed a few bikes were available, but in far flung parts of the country, until, at last, Delta Bikes in Dursley - just a few miles up the road from Bristol, were showing a healthy stock of every model size. Brilliant I thought.

Have had 4 bikes from Delta over the last few years - ranging from children’s, to top-end eMtb . Service has always been outstanding. Very customer focused, ensuring that you get exactly the right bike for your needs - with expertise to fit the right accessories properly. And if later on there happens to be an issue it’s dealt with immediately and without quibble. Recommend unreservedly.

I have been using Delta Bikes for 2 or 3 years now, having bought 3 bikes from them, one for each of my children, as well as accessories and servicing, and will soon be buying another bike there for myself. The team are all very helpful, though it is Jon that I have mainly had delaings with. Always very happy to share his deep knowledge and offer plenty of advice. Have been using Delta Bikes to purchase bikes, accessories as well as maintenance/repair of bikes for a couple of years and they are fantastic. The customer service I have received has been outstanding. All staff are incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. The shop is a hidden gem and stocks a fantastic range of products at competitive prices. Would not go anywhere else Superb!!
