Services
Happy Paws is a professional dog walking, cat, dog, puppy and small animal sitting service covering north and west Newcastle upon Tyne. Unlike some other dog walkers and pet sitters, Happy Paws is open seven days a week and we aim to be as competitively priced as possible, charging no additional premium for weekend or bank holiday dog walks, where available, or cat and small animal visits.
Happy Paws dog walking in Newcastle offers you a choice of fun filled professional group walks that are great for socialising or a solo dog walk, when available, if you prefer. Whichever option you choose, all walks are fully supervised by a professional dog walker, Darrin or Julie and often both of us, and your dog will get plenty of exercise, love and attention.
If your dog is housebound but incapable of long walks due to illness or old age, a Happy Paws dog visit could be just the ticket to keeping them happy in your absence. Happy Paws will visit your dog at your home and carry out any tasks agreed without yourselves including feeding and watering, playing, administering medication and toilet breaks.
Cats are very independent animals and can often find a cattery a very stressful environment. If you're away from home for any period of time, one of our Happy Paws cat sitters, either Julie or Darrin, can visit your cat once or twice a day. We'll make sure they're cared for in their own safe, comfortable and familiar surroundings.
I am mainly housebound so Darrin has looked after my dogs for many years including my Springer Spaniels Sam and Sophie, my terrier Kizzie and particularly my other rescue dog Max. Max loved Darrin so much he was constantly at the window awaiting his arrival and Darrin loved him too, taking him on family camping and walking trips.

We were initially worried to leave our cat at home given that he's 15 and has both kidney disease and regular bouts of pancreatitis. Darrin was brilliant though and made us feel really confident that our cat would be well looked after in his care. When we arrived home it was clear that Whiskers had been absolutely fine all week and his food/litter needs had all been catered for perfectly. The regular emails and photos are also really great and gave us a worry free holiday! We will definitely use Happy Paws again!
