We are a small personal service based in Newcastle and South Northumberland priding ourselves on delivering a first class personal service for you and your four legged friend.
We know your dog is one of the most precious and important members of your household and when you can't oversee their exercise and training regimes, or rather be there to fuss, cuddle and be at their beck and call, we can step in with a dedicated, passionate and reliable service. We treat every dog as if it was our own with fun filled walks, day care and boarding in our own home.

Services
Leaving your dog at home when you are out is never ideal, but at Barkers Dog House we aim to make it a little easier for you and your dog by providing a reliable dog walking service. Our walks range from short riverside walks, to long, relaxing, and peaceful countryside and beach walks. All walks are free from busy roads and heavy traffic and there are many places to run and play off lead if desired.
We provide a personal one to one service for your dog living in a comfortable home away from home. They will live in our own home with us as part of our family. We do not use kennels or cages. Your dog will have its own comfortable bed or can snuggle on the sofa with us. Your dog will be fed as required to your specification and its normal home routine adhered to as much as possible.
Daycare can be provided if you prefer a full day service. Your dog will be accommodated for the day in our home whilst still enjoying all the benefits of daily walks and usual feeding routines. Day-care is provided from 0900 - 1600. Prior arrangements to be made outside theses times. We can pick up and drop off locally (within 5 miles) free of charge within the times stated above.

Absolutely amazing...Alfie loves his stays with Mom 2 and seeing all his friends. Goes away a happy dog and comes back happy.

Barkers Dog House is the BEST thing since sliced bread. Diane is absolutely FABULOUS and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any of my friends who all love their furry family. Samson now waits for Di to come and gets so excited when he hears her pull up outside as he knows he will have so much fun and looked after like one of her own. Thanks Barkers Dog House xxxxx

Diane walks Archie for us. We know that he is well looked after and obviously well walked as he is happy to just settle when we come home. It is great that he gets chance to mix with other dogs too. He is very much looking forward to spending his holiday there next year, and for the first time ever, I am not at all worried about leaving a dog as I know he will have a great time, only concern is that he probably won't want to come home.
