Services
St George's Day Nursery is a 38 place friendly and caring private day nursery, which caters for children aged between 0 and 5 years old, a new purpose build baby unit has been specifically designed to cater for under two which will run alongside the existing pre-school provision. The nursery provides a stimulating, warm, safe and caring environment where children have a variety of experiences in which to learn and play.
Here at St George's Day Nursery we pride ourselves on the variety of activities and events available for families to take part in. We feel that family interaction helps to promote and develop strong bonds between children's home and nursery environments. Our events range from weekend day trips to exciting destinations such as Hobbledown Farm, the London Aquarium, Weymouth Beach, London Zoo, Urban Farm, Garson's fruit picking.
The Nursery has a detailed learning curriculum for children, which is based on the 3 Prime and 4 Specific Areas of learning as outlined by the DFEE's 'Early Years Foundation Stage'. All children have access to a range of different experiences, skills and interests when they join us, therefore our activities are structured from observations on the children and reflect each child's interests and abilities.
Below are some details regarding nursery fees, should you require any further details please contact the a member of the nursery team. Nursery fees are to be paid at the beginning of each month. The nursery accepts cheque, cash or bank transfer payments. We also accept many of the nursery vouchers which are set up through your employer (if they support the voucher system).
