Orville has been running for over 20 years and opening a specialist running shop has long been an aspiration and dream of his. He first began running as part of his training as an amateur boxer and because of his passion for running and the results that he gained physically and mentally he continued to run long after he left the boxing behind.
Gait analysis usually involves walking or running on a treadmill., in some cases the professional will simply watch the way you move looking in particular at your feet, ankles, knees and hips. In more specialist settings a video recorder will often be set up behind the treadmill, which will record film of your gait cycle.

The person I spoke to could not have been more helpful and actually opened shop again for me as I'd driven a long way to get there for a gait analysis. He helped me pick shoes specifically for my needs (training for a 10mile), maximum comfort and budget and answered all questions I had. Couldn't récommend this place more. (plus it smells nice!)

I went to well run sports for the first time, to buy some trainers for an event I’m doing. I’ve never bought proper running trainers before, so I went in a bit clueless, but the guy was so so helpful! He was very knowledgable and helped me find the perfect trainers. Reasonably priced as well, I did have a look online when I got home out of curiousity but I couldn’t actually find the trainers any cheaper. I would highly recommend this shop!

A fantastic running shop. A massive range of shoes and a treadmill to try your trainers on. The staff totally love running and understand our needs. Very patient and no hard sell either. I won’t be shopping anywhere else. Thoroughly recommend giving them a try. I discovered my trainers were too small and since getting into the right ones after many years my feet can come out in flip flops! 5 stars!

Went with my wife to get her some new running shoes and got excellent service. Not pushy in any way, and not patronising for people who aren't professional runners and may not understand the huge amount of technology involved in running shoes. Clearly anyone wanting proper shoes for sport needs to be going here and NOT a normal high street sports shop selling fashion shoes. Company also does good discounts when ordering online, although we got money off in store too simply by mentioning it.
