I visited Urquharts in Ayr last week to get my 5 year old his first pair of glasses. I was impressed at the huge choice of kids glasses they had and Caroline was great at helping us select the right ones for him.

For the past 2 years we have been delighted to be the main sponsor of the Ayrshire Hospice Ladies Lunch, held at Trump Turnberry.

Had a very thorough eye test, recently, conducted by Alistair. It was informative and enjoyable but it was also reassuring as I had a specific and complex enquiry based on my lens replacement op a few years back. Alistair had researched the issue and had spoken with a consultant eye surgeon, a top man in his field. I was eminently satisfied with the information I received and grateful for Alistair's patience! Lovely practice , welcoming staff and first class advice and service from Alistair .
Alistairs advice on cataract surgery has resulted in me going from a highly myopic prescription to requiring no prescription for reading or distance ! Lens and spectacle free for the first time in over 40 yrs ! Life changing !!

Having been to Urquhart's before for both tests and glasses, I knew to expect exemplary server and once again the didn't disappoint. Form Andrew performing the tests through to Emma fitting the new glasses everyone at Urquhart's is friendly, welcoming and professional. Would never use another Opticians.

1st class experience. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, the eye examination was thorough and the optometrist explained each test and result as we went along making it easy to understand. The whole operation is very professional with a great deal of care put into cleanliness and overall customer care
