Everyone taking driving lessons will learn to drive in their own way and at their own individual speed. At City Way School of Motoring, we understand this and therefore tailor your driving lessons to your individual requirements.

Services
Driving lessons are all paid in ADVANCE to secure your training in my diary by bank transfer or cash. YOUR USED LESSONS WILL BE CHARGED AT OUR STANDARD DRIVING LESSON PRICE for either manual or automatic. A fantastic Achievement - Well done James, started his driving lessons with City Way School of Motoring, having had no driving experience.
Test Day came along, and Holly remembered the key areas from her driving lessons and held her nerves very well and drove as we knew she could do. Oliver started his driving lessons with ourselves having had some driving experience in the past, but never got a far as taking a driving test. We completed an assessment of his current driving standard and it was agreed that a 15 hrs intensive driving course.

Unprofessional. Aggressive. Dangerous. Gary suffers from road rage, both as a driver and an instructor. He has no patience whatsoever. He will make you feel like you will never pass your test and drag out lessons for his own financial gain, rather than the goals you set out to pass. His unorthodox, outdated methods will get you nowhere. Unfortunately, he has chosen a career that is not suited for him, and I hope reviews like this one will knock him off his arrogant perch and pursue other areas that do not affect the safety and well-being of people learning to drive. I was able to pass my test first time, thanks to the support I was being provided with whilst learning to drive. Gary was always happy to help me with any problems or questions I had regarding driving outside of lessons, too. I would definitely recommend City Way School of Motoring and Gary as an instructor.

This man was an unprofessional and rude bully. I had one lesson with him and cried after 30 minutes, I asked to be taken home. Bare in mind I had not been in a car in 3 months and he was very impatient and aggressive. He kept shouting at me for minor mistakes which are of course going to happen if you’re a learner.
My last instructor wasn’t able to provide lessons at the time i needed so I booked with Gary who was able to accommodate this. My previous instructor and my instructor after Gary also had completely different approaches and made me feel very relaxed and not nervous at all. Gary

Being an older learner driver, I was quite nervous learning to drive and struggled with anxiety. Gary was absolutely incredible, he went out of his way to educate himself on how to approach lessons with someone who suffers with anxiety and adjusted each lesson to accommodate my needs. Not only is Gary a very good driving instructor who aims to make you a safe and responsible driver, he is also a very kind, caring and genuine person. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Great for learning to drive. The lessons are very well structured as they are made to help you whatever your level of competency. I found that the demonstrations provided by the instructor were very useful as they showed me not only how to do something, but why I was doing it. The instructor is very friendly and understanding if you have a problem with any aspect of driving. I would definitely recommend this instructor to others.

Didn't have a great experience with Gary either, I paid in advance and when my daughter came home twice upset and decided to cancel I struggled to get advance payment back and Gary started to throw website terms and conditions back. I also recall Gary arrived late a few times. I'm sure Gary works well for certain types of people but be careful when booking in advance, in my opinion there are better instructors available in local area.

Gary is an amazing driving instructor. He was kind enough to fit me into his already busy schedule.... all the other driving schools were fully booked till Feb/March 2017. As a first time driver I was extremely nervous.. but Gary calmed me down. He is patient, and passionate about his students getting the best of teaching. Never fails to make you laugh when one is panicking. I cannot fault Gary . A friendly, polite and patient individual.
