1st-Learn to Drive is not a new Driving School. We are in Driving School business since 2002. Our expertise helped all our previous learners to learn driving, pass their test and drive safe for years. Unlike some other driving schools we only use fully approved and qualified Driving Instructors and no trainees.
So that we know that we'll get on with each other and to give you a entry into using our services, we have tailored first two hours for 55.00 (at 27.50 per hour) as a trial lessons (manual or automatic, complete beginners only). This offer can be used in conjunction with any other block booking lessons.
Here at 1st Learn to Drive we are consistently surprised by the high demand for manual driving lessons from men and women of all ages. People learn to drive a manual vehicle for many reasons. For some, learning to drive a manual is just what you do. Why take the easy option and be restricted if you are confident in your driving abilities?
One of the largest factors that delays learner drivers from taking those first steps and getting driving lessons to begin with is the thought of stalling the car in busy traffic. This can feel especially scary if you're learning to drive in big towns with lots of traffic, or in an area that requires lots of stopping and starting on hills.
What is an intensive course, exactly? Intensive driving lessons are a route some people take who want to get their licence as quickly as possible. These can sometimes be daily lessons between two and five hours long, and typically one to two weeks. Booking a crash intensive course with 1-st learn to drive shall be done few weeks in advance (depending on how busy we are).

I can’t express how grateful I am to Fadil for taking me on after my horrific experience with my first driving instructor. He made every lesson so enjoyable, so relaxing and turned me into a confident driver in a matter of weeks before my test. Today I had my test and I passed first time with only two minors. I couldn’t be happier and I would have never been able to get to this point without Fadil. I would recommend him to all and he will go above and beyond to get you that pass. Fadil is the best driving instructor anyone can ask for. I only had a week intensive lesson with him and I passed my test in Tuesday He was so good and clear about what and whatnot to do for the test, and everything went well. After two failed tests, Fadil told me I couldn’t use his car for my next attempt as he “couldn’t afford another negative record.” I’ve since found out that the DVSA does keep a record of how many fails driving instructors have - for good reason - and it is fraudulent behaviour to pressure learners to use their own car to do their next test to manipulate instructor stats.
After confronting Fadil on this in messages and explaining why this isn’t okay, he cancelled my partner’s lessons without any warning. She wasn’t even involved.

Cancelled my lessons, due to my partner calling him out on shady fraudulent practices. Just be aware that if you fail your test twice (the average person will pass after 2.1 attempts) you will no longer be able to use Fadil’s car for the test - so it doesn’t look bad on him. Together we have spent thousands of pounds to have to look for another instructor. If we had known this from the start and Fadil was honest with us, we would never had picked him as an instructor. Please be careful on where you spend your money.

IVE PASSED!! Thanks to the amazing Fadil. In honesty, i have failed multiple times with other driving schools and instructors and I had really lost hope until I heard about first learn to drive through a friend. I can happily say i passed my test on my first attempt with Fadil just a few days ago. Fadil was patient, polite and punctual and I have never felt so confident on the road.

Firstly, a big thanks to 1st learn to drive! More specifically Fadil!! I passed my driving exam 1st time thanks to him! He was the most patient and trustworthy instructor i could have ever had, he told me how it was and taught me everything i know ( passed at 17 and have yet to even dent my car!). I recommended him to my sisters and friends who found the same! We all passed 1st time and my brother who has just passed his theory has booked his very first lesson with him a few days ago and is excited to start.

I’m still training with Fadil but I can’t say I have met anyone offering services whether paid or unpaid that is as considerate and calm as Fadil. I always have a good time during lessons as it’s usually no pressure/tension sessions. I would recommend him especially to novice learners.
