Welcome to the Ocean Lodge Guest House, where we offer traditional and friendly bed and breakfast accommodation in Swanage, Dorset. Ocean Lodge is a three-storey Victorian terraced property situated close to Swanage town centre. We are just a few minutes' stroll from the blue flag beach, Swanage Pier, the famous Swanage Steam Railway, and lots of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Our four guest rooms are all en suite, and each has tea & coffee making facilites, freeview TV, a small fridge and free WIFI. And we pride ourselves on our breakfasts! Swanage is a beautiful seaside town with plenty to see and do at any time of year. Or if you feel like going a little further afield, there are some fantastic attractions in the area.

Services
We are lucky enough to be situated within easy reach of everything Swanage has to offer, including the beach, the theatre, the pier, the railway, and the many and varied shops, pubs, cafs and restaurants. We do not have a private car park, but unrestricted (free) parking is available in the road. We are at the bottom end of a fairly steep hill, but it is usually possible to drop off your luggage before finding a space.

Great little B+B just 2 minutes walk to the seafront, shops, restaurants etc. (if you dawdle). The room was perfectly clean and the bed really comfortable, there is a fridge in the room with bottled water and fresh milk for the tea and coffee. Breakfast was particularly good and cooked to order. Colin and Sue are friendly, attentive hosts going above and beyond for their guests. There is plenty to do in Swanage and we intend returning, Ocean lodge will be our first choice.

Excellent. Swanage hotels can be expensive but this b&b gives all the touches that give you a pleasant stay - thongs others overlook. Incredibly clean and modern with high quality soft furnishings. The treats were plenty of toiletries, refeshments and a fridge including fresh milk and water. Check in was easy and we were allowed to leave bags early. Didn't try the breakfast. Great place.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in July. The room was spotless, extremely comfortable and had a view towards the pier and Swanage bay. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and we'd happily re-visit as the hotel presents very good value. Unfortunately, the Covid situation meant that cooked breakfasts were unavailable but that was the only downside to our stay.
