Robins at Marsh Barn offers self catering accommodation in Manningtree. Set in the conservation area of Dedham Vale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Robins is a converted barn in a lovely 2 acre garden by the River Stour. Accommodation, for 2 people, consists of a beautifully furnished studio (20x15), separate bathroom and well-equipped kitchen.
There is a croquet lawn, 200yds river frontage, outside dining area & parking at front door. The garden gate opens onto a riverside path to Flatford Mill (3 miles) & Dedham (4 miles) in one direction and in the other to the little town of Manningtree (10 minutes walk), with its beach, sailing club & several excellent restaurants.

Services
Dear Maggie and Ray Though we thanked you both in writing and verbally on the day we left, we'd like to amplify our appreciation of all the ways in which you ensured that we had such a memorable and rewarding holiday in Essex. We enjoyed every minute and certainly intend to recommend Robins to others.
Take A12 towards Colchester and Ipswich, exit at Junction 31 sign posted East Bergholt, turn left onto B1070 towards East Bergholt, follow B1070 through East Bergholt, continue along B1070 to A137 at roundabout take 3rd exit toward Manningtree, as you cross the river Stour start to slow down and indicate right.
At last the swallows and martins are back and it is heart-lifting to see the first arrivals cleaving the air over the garden and river. No swifts yet but we wait expectantly. It has been a hard and prolonged winter but now the sunshine has filled the garden with birdsong----from very early morning until late in the evening.
