ASM Engineering Ltd was established in 1980 and remains a privately owned company. Originally the company was based in Luton, Bedfordshire with a manufacturing facility of 6000sqft. With growth came the need to relocate to larger and more appropriate premises. Hence in 2005 ASM move to Hitchin in Hertfordshire, which afforded better office accommodation and a 20,000sqft manufacturing facility.

The new Crossrail retail and leisure destination will play home to some of the UK's popular brands including Everyman Cinema, the first in East London Sports Bar & Grill and the Mexican burrito restaurant, Poncho 8. The mix of these lifestyle and retail brands will be placed within the six storey development, designed by Foster + Partners, which covers the station with a semi open-air timber lattice structure over a leisure park.

Manufacture, Supply and installation of ductwork for 58 No. AHU Plantrooms to the new Olympic Media Centre. ASM were contracted to provide supply and extract systems to the studios for the Olympic Broadcasting systems. The work was carried out to a tight programme on site, it required considerable planning and control for the manufacture and delivery of the ductwork as no materials could be stored at site.
