Housed in a separate building away from our dog boarding facilities, this ensures the cats cannot hear the dogs and results in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We offer our boarding clients the convenience of having a going home bath and/or nail clip before collection by staff that have got to know them well during their boarding.

Services
We are a family run boarding kennels and cattery based in an idyllic countryside setting just outside Horsham in Sussex. Our experienced, professional team is supported by other staff members and volunteers during our busy times. All our staff are fully trained and dedicated to looking after your pets as they would their own.

The beautifully tiled kennels are finished to a high standard and provide a warm, clean, dry and hygienic home for your pets during their stay.

Classical music is played throughout the day creating a fabulous peaceful and calm environment for our feline friends.
Our professional parlour is fully equipped to ensure that every dog's individual needs are catered for. We pride ourselves on the professional services we offer and our philosophy is to ensure your pet receives one to one unhurried grooming, which will be carried out in a warm, safe, friendly environment.
Prices stated below are a daily rate INCLUSIVE of food, insurance and VAT. If you require day crche the same rates apply per day. We charge for the day you deliver on and the day you collect, irrespective of time. If you wish to drop off or collect your pet outside normal opening hours an additional charge of 20.00 will be made, this must however be agreed with the kennel management.

Karen and Beth were amazing!
The kennels are out in the sticks and nice and quiet (except for the talkative dogs 😆). Loved the idea of a lamp heater in their room to keep the doggos warm.
My dog is a recent rescue and is very anxious and nervous of new things and people.
I was very worried as it was his first kennel stay but I needn't have been. Because when Beth introduced herself, they became BFFs 😅
Excellent place and people, and would thoroughly recommend based on my experience.

Highly recommend these kennels. Karen and her team treat all the dogs with a lot of care and love! My 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed their stay for a week, it was their first time being in kennels and were looked after very well to ensure they settled as much as possible. I received regular updates of how they were doing which put my mind at ease knowing that they were having a great time. The kennels are extremely clean and spacious, and each dog is individually catered for. Fab place!

Collected our 3 year old pup today after an 11 night stay, his first time ever in kennels and he loved it. He is a very sociable dog and loved all the staff and daily routines. We will definitely use their services again and will reccommend to our friends and family. Excellent care and love given to our pup by brilliant caring people. Thank you.

My cat stayed here for a whole week while we moved house and was very well looked after. Fantastic staff, especially Karen who gave our cat lots of attention throughout the week. Staff were also very accommodating to our last minute needs as we only booked her in last minute when our house move was delayed. Would thoroughly recommend Hammerpond to any cat/dog owner, and will not hesitate book our cat back in.

We left our puppy here after needing a last minute booking. They were very accommodating and allowed us to book despite the very short notice.
All the staff were lovely and clearly dog lovers, and when we picked up our puppy she didn’t want to come home with us she wanted to go back!
All in all a great experience.

I have used Hammerpond for years after some bad experiences at other kennels and would not go anywhere else. It is clear all the staff adore dogs and I feel confident leaving them there. Yes they charge by the day but I can pick up at a time that works for me and if I get held up I know my dogs are safe until I can get there. Their kennels are spacious, clean and hygenic and the animals happy. Best kennels around!
