Ghandi Tandoori is the Best Kept Secret in Portishead, Bristol. We offer the finest mouthwatering Indian cuisine and pride ourselves in providing great food & excellent service. Catering for parties up to 40 people, so book now. We only order takeaway twice a month as weekend treat. They have different chefs.
When the main man is there, the meats are tender and the sauces full of fresh ingredients. They know us by name and are lovely polite gentlemen. The Ghandi is our family favourite in Portishead, as any local will tell you, it's always completely full on the weekends (and Wednesday banquet night) for a reason!

I moved to the area recently and thought I'd give this place ago . I ordered at 15 before they opened so I was first customer first order . I got home to find out no garlic and cheese nan I had plain nan instead and an awful curry . Never again
shame on them I would of been a regular but an awful experience.

Went with Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, and Keema Rice. The chicken fell apart on my plate, and melted in my mouth, absolute perfection. The Jalfrezi was a wonderful flavor, just the right thickness to the sauce, but not as spicy as i would have hoped, but i really like hot things, so it's likely just right for most people. The Keema rice was possibly the best I've had. Washed down with a cobra beer (better than kingfisher 😋). Staff were friendly and attentive. Can't complain about the facilities.

Food was over an hour late, called after 45 minutes was told the order would be with me in a few minutes, 15 mins later called again and got told the same. When it arrived it was missing the rice and was lukewarm likely as it has been out for delivery for over 40 minutes. Understand it’s a busy Saturday night but no one wants food that’s been in a car for that long. It’s a shame as most of the food was pretty tasty but avoid the onion bhaji as they weren’t the best.
