Ring O' Bells
Low ceilings throughout the pub add to the cosiness with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces. Local farmers and suppliers are a key ingredient in our menus and we make the most of the seasonal, fresh & local produce. We pride ourselves on provenance, sourcing produce from local farms as well as foraging for wild ingredients in our amazing surroundings.

All bundled in with our little kitchen garden. Tuck into some classic pub grub, explore our more intricate dishes, or experience the full tasting journey with a five course menu designed by Jo and complemented with wine by Ian. Whatever you chose, you can be sure of a hearty and unpretentious experience.

Think twice before ordering the pies, and the landlord really doesn't like bad feedback.
Went there with my wife for dinner. Ordered, seated, all well so far. I ordered a pie and was told it would take 45 minutes; it took an hour and a quarter. My wife ordered a steak; crucially, the server didn't ask how my wife wanted her steak done, and we didn't notice.
Anyway, after waiting for an hour and a ten minutes, a steak was put in front of my wife. One minute later, it was removed; "Wrong order", we were told. Just as well my wife hadn't cut into it then.
However, a few minutes later food eventually

A very old pub with great food (not your ham, egg and chips type). The couple that run the pub are also very welcoming and friendly.

Best veggie burger ever. Actual hand cut chips unlike some. Having travelled from Surrey and reading some reviewers who claim its pricey, please eat in Guildford and then make the same claim ! Dog friendly to boot. Brilliant find.

Been here many times over the years. Always a great pub. On 1st July 21 will not be rushing back over 30mins to get served 5 pints and vastly over priced. Was a lovely pub but have the drinks out of stock, over priced and rubbish service even with covid taken into account.

We had an excellent experience this weekend at this beautiful pub. Perfectly cooked Ribeyes, also good value for money. Others in group had the burgers and everything that came was beautifully cooked. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff, even brought a card I'd forgotten out to the car park as we left. Thanks!

Really interesting and well thought out menu - we had an artichoke dish and a beetroot and ricotta stuffed pasta dish because they sounded different- both excellent πŸ˜‹. Can thoroughly recommend dining at this beautiful little pub πŸ‘
