Avanti Express was launched in 2007 as a logistics company specialising in two man deliveries in the furniture, flooring and 'bulky' goods markets, particularly to residential addresses across the UK mainland. Straight after that, the company started to organise transport logistics for universities' and recruitment companies' fairs and exhibitions.

I paid for a large table and small bench to be delivered to the room of my choice, unwrapped, assembled and for the rubbish to be removed. The items were delivered to the correct room but the two men refused to unwrap and assemble them. They claimed that they only had to deliver the items and departed as fast as they could. I was furious and unable to move the items on my own.

We've paid extra to have 3 bookshelves delivered to our second floor flat as I just recently been through surgery and couldn't lift any heavy weights for obvious reasons.
The driver called me on my cell and it took me around 3-4 minutes to grab the keys, go down the stairs to be greeted by a disgruntled driver complaining he'd waited for 10 minutes. Once they started bringing the bookshelves in, one of the pointed to the first floor asking if that is where it would go. "No, that's the first floor, my flat is on the second floor, please." to which I got a reply "Well, that's going to take half

I was so impressed with this company. They contacted me directly to arrange delivery and did their best to work around my commitments. I was sent a time slot the day before and the driver even called me when he was on the way. Can't fault the service.
The guys were so helpful. If only all delivery company's were the same. Thank you Avanti.

I left a full time job to work for this company whilst on furlough for 14 weeks. The biggest mistake of my life. The owner alex wants you to work 60-70 hours a week but refuses to pay you over time. Wants you to start at 0200-0300 hours travel 200+ miles do around 16- 20 drop then travel home. When you work your money out its well under national minimum wage.please if your a driver avoid this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Unorganised, rude, horrible owner. Refused a delivery for me although it had been booked in verbally and in writing. Then tried to charge me way over the standard pricing to deliver it a week later than promised. Other deliveries have been promised as white glove/2 man and I've had to help the driver off load. JUST A JOKE. I will NEVER use this company again as they clearly don't know what customer service is and have no pricing policy in place. It seems to be a matter of them trying to charge as much as they can get away with.
