Homelands Trust Fife
The Homelands Trust-Fife (SCIO) (SC047615) is an independent. Fife based charity working to improve the quality of life of individuals affected by disability, people with life limiting conditions and their carers, through the provision of luxury holiday accommodation. Homelands is committed to providing a sustainable operation and as such have joined the "Green Tourism" scheme.

Our buildings have already achieved very high energy performance ratings as per the certification below and in Autumn 2018 we installed two 22kw electric vehicle type 2 fast charge points for use by the public and our visitors. These points are available on the Chargeplace Scotland network and you must be registered with them to use the points.
Services
Each of the lodges and the Paxton Centre have been purpose built to ensure people affected by disability can make full use of all the facilities at Homelands. Within both the Paxton Centre and the lodges there is level access and widened door frames.

There are two wheelchair accessible paths that offer access in and out of Homelands; one of these paths leads to the golf course and road outside Homelands and the other leads to the main street in Lundin Links where all the shops and bus stops can be found. All lodges have Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoists in each of the ground floor bedrooms and in the wet room.
We are now the proud owners of a Freeway T80 auto recline shower chair. This features a 4 point centre pull harness, half height head rest and angle adjustable footrests. This is now one of our bookable extras which is available during a stay at no extra charge but is subject to availability.

We would like to invite any guests who have already booked with us and would like use of this chair to give us a call on 01333 329039 and we will add it for you.If you are making a new booking with us then you will find this in bookable extras. We are looking forward to seeing this being used well at Homelands.
If you have a favourite lodge or specific dates which suit you best for a stay at Homelands in 2020 then we have now launched our pricing and availability. Peak dates and in particular our Drummochy Lodge are booked quickly so don't delay. Bookings for 2019 have been made at an extraordinary rate so booking in advance is advised wherever possible.
We are delighted to report that we are making good progress with our second phase of Homelands here in Lundin Links. We are currently awaiting our Building Warrant from Fife Council and have already raised a fantastic 1.6million towards the development. We are now working towards raising the remaining 400,000 required.
We are delighted to now have a freestanding Lifting pole, also know as a Monkey Pole, available at Homelands for our guests to use during their stay. This can be found as an optional extra when booking online and comes at no additional cost. We only have one of these available so if you would like to use this during your break with us then please state this at the time of booking.

In September 2017 I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease which as most people will be aware is a severely debilitating, and ultimately terminal, illness. Faced with this diagnosis I have attempted to make the most of the time I have left with my immediately family, including my two young children. Within 12 months I found myself confined to a… wheelchair, requiring specialist equipment such as hoists and disability access to go about my daily business.
In order to maintain as much normality as possible, for the sake of the kids, I scoured the internet in order to source holiday accommodation

What a fantastic place for adults and kids. This place was home from home and homelands provided us with everything we needed to make us all comfortable. Stunning inside and out with beautiful views, gorgeous beach, wonderful garden centre near by and Anstruther is only 22 minutes. Thank you Homelands for a wonderful time we will definitely be back soon. Only downside is my mum now wishes she had all that space in her own house 😆

Absolutely stunning , a beautiful retreat surrounded by trees with lovely views of the golf course and the water ! Loved having breakfast on the terrace with the sound of the wind through the trees, very relaxed atmosphere, spotlessly clean , an abundance of space and cupboards to store equipment and everything you could possibly need to set up house , we felt at home at soon as we walked through the doors! Communication with the people involved in homelands has been fantastic , we were met on arrival and they couldnt be more helpful, the tracking hoists are amazing , very simple to use and all

Just spent a fantastic short break at Homelands with a few good friends - our 11th since it opened. Stunning lodges in a great setting overlooking the sea. The weather was extremely kind with wall-to-wall sunshine. Had lunch in the Paxton Centre cafe on Wednesday and Friday - great food, greta value - saved cooking! Lunch on Thursday at the nearby Monturpie, which is wheelchair-accessible. A wee trip to the Museum of the University of St Andrews (MUSA) and coffee in the British Golf Museum cafe made a lovely outing.
